We had a great stay at this hotel. We are a family of 6 and our room was big enough for all of us and our bags. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk to Munich main train station and about 15 minutes walk to MarienPlatz. Lots of eating options around the hotel. I would stay there again!

While the hotel is older than the more modern hotels, do not let that fool you. Right from walking into the hotel, we felt like home. The rooms were clean and the room we had was spacious. The bathroom had obviously been redone as it was clean and fresh. I always rate hotels by whether I would stay again and I certainly would at Hotel Brunnenhof

Very helpful and friendly staff, good breakfast, nice clean room and great to have a bed each for the child rather than having to share a small sofa bed like at other hotels that claim to accommodate families. Easy access via foot and tram to the old town and other key attractions. Maps provided by the hotel were also helpful.

The photos of the room online do not look the same at the real rooms. The surrounding area feels unsafe and dirty. A 20 minute walk east and all the hotels and areas are clean, feel safe and close to the Christmas markets. Would not recommend to any of our friends.

Great Munich hotel

This is a lovely hotel and quite walkable to the main train station, where you can catch trains, buses, and trams to get anywhere in the city or to/from the airport. There are plenty of places to eat very nearby as well. Felt very safe, very clean, and a nice family place to stay while in Munich.

This is an older hotel. Parking isn't great, lots of construction was going on in the neighborhood. The hotel was very quiet though. Breakfast was an additional expense of $14 which was worth it, a very nice buffet. We arrived later than expected but check-in was a breeze. The room was fair sized but bathroom was surprisingly large. Bonus: the hotel was within walking distance to central train station. Overall, a pleasant stay.
