Excellent hotel with wonderful staff!

We stayed here while in Munich for Oktoberfest and just loved it. The rooms are no frills, but everywhere in the hotel is spotlessly clean and the rooms were very comfortable. The staff here were all excellent. They were so friendly and helpful. We paid for the breakfast buffet and were really glad that we did. The food was very good and the selection was excellent. The ladies in the dining room were super attentive and did such an amazing job. The hotel itself was just a short walk to the train station and walkable to Oktoberfest and several Munich attractions. We recommend this hotel in a heartbeat!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The manager offered my kids a snack while they waited for us to check in. We missed a connecting train and had to stay in Munich for the night. The hotel is very convenient to the train station and great for a large family or group. We were able to check in early. They notified us when we left a pair of shoes and arranged to mail them back. Great customer service.

Sweet little hotel near train station

Loved this cozy little hotel. The guy at the front desk was so helpful and friendly. He made us feel very welcome. The room and bathroom, although very small, were very clean. The hotel was very quiet even though it was Oktoberfest. We never heard anyone else in the hotel. Breakfast was served in a charming dining room and had everything you could want. Best of all a hot pot in the room to make your first cup of coffee! Convenient location to Oktoberfest and old town.

This hotel, just around the corner from the train station, was easily reached with suitcase and carry bags. Very nice front desk employees, who helped me with everything in an efficient and super nice manner. Immediately also booked a taxi, to pick me up on my departure day. My single room was super clean, and had everything one could need, including a hot pot for that first cup of coffee in the am. I paid extra ($18/day) for the breakfast buffet downstairs, and it is worth every penny, as it has everything anyone could want, presented in a beautiful way. Coffee will be brought to your table, and don't forget to leave a tip in the container on the table, for the hard working kitchen/wait staff. 🙂 While having breakfast, the owner/manager/employee, that helped me at check-in, came around to ask whether everything was going well and whether I needed anything. Even though I happened to be there during Oktoberfest, the area around me was pretty quiet the entire time I was there. It is easy to walk from there to a subway entrance, that exits near the Marienplatz , etc. I highly recommend this hotel, and would stay there again. Dany Scott

My stay at Alfa was great. The guy running the place was very nice and attentive, and the room was exactly as advertised and reasonably priced (given I visited during the height of Oktoberfest). I would definitely stay here again.

This hidden gem is a perfect option close to Old Town, Oktoberfest, and more. I stayed at the more conventional options a this was by far a better value and experience. They are so friendly and focused on the customer experience.

The hotel is in a great location in Munich. The car rental office is right next door and the Central train station is a five-minute walk. Check-in was easy and fast and we were shown to our room. We just needed one night before a flight the next day and I have stayed at the Alfa in the past for an extended night work trip so when I saw it was available I jumped. Note- the hotel is in a busy section of the city so expect a higher noise level as expected in a city..
