Nice Stay

On the whole it was a great stay. Location is superb and Gateway of India is jn walking dustance. Hospitality is excellent!! It is actually housed in an old building dating back to British era. There are fantastic eating joints and cafe in and around

Overall satisfactory. Some rooms do not have an external window. We were shifted to a beautiful room on our second day. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The common areas get cleaned regularly which is great. Maybe some good books can be added.

Great hotel/ hostel. I really enjoyed my stay,

I was really pleased with my stay here. I stayed in the single room. It was spacious with had clean furniture. The room was clean. My only complaint was an occasional smell in the bathroom. The staff was very friendly. They had a very nice rooftop area, and it was in a great area. Highly recommended.

Shared dorm room for 6 so quite a busy room. Cleaned everyday, room stayed cool in the heat. Lovely atmosphere and the guys on reception really helpful for organising money exchange, buses, eSIM and answering questions. Hotel is right in Colaba and by India Gate, 25 minute stroll to the Wankhede cricket stadium for the T20 World Cup. Fantastic time in Mumbai and the hotel ticked all the boxes.

Cricket T20 World Cup only 25 minute walk depending on being brave crossing the roads!
Main train terminus. UNESCO building. Fantastic architecture all around Mumbai.

Quite clean, smokespot on the roof alright. No privacy in the dorm because the curtains are missing. Surgery room light are crazy bright, but maybe somebody likes them.

Wir haben zwei „Superior“-Zimmer gebucht – was wir vorgefunden haben, war schlicht unzumutbar. Betten, Bettwäsche, Kissen und Decken waren mit Schimmel befallen. Unter diesen Umständen haben wir dort selbstverständlich nicht eine einzige Nacht geschlafen. Eine akzeptable Lösung vor Ort? Fehlanzeige. Das Problem wurde weder ernsthaft noch zu unserer Zufriedenheit behoben. Fazit: Gesundheitsgefährdende Zustände, irreführende Zimmerkategorie und null Problemlösungskompetenz. Dieses Hotel ist keine Empfehlung, nicht einmal im Notfall.
