The bathroom had an old-style sink and water was all over the countertop. On a positive side, the room was clean and spacious, friendly staff. "I had a room on the 7th floor with yve view of the hotel next door. The room smelled old. Room service was impossible to get on the phone. I did enjoy the gym and the water was hot and it is very well located."

"Well maintained and stocked apartment with wonderful ocean views. However, communication with the owner/manager left a lot to be desired. When I entered the apartment, I noticed that the bedroom was missing its television. I reached out, and received a fairly speedy, friendly response from my host that s/he would hasten to install a tv in the bedroom - sadly, the host went eternally silent and there was no subsequent follow-up. This was a little disappointing. Otherwise, a great place to unwind...

"Great location and nice view (you can walk to the metro, pharmacy and to tons of restaurants and coffee shops) but lobby staff needs to be a bit friendlier. Fortunately the rest of the staff is polite and friendly (cleaning lady and restaurant staff). There are only three elevators for 18 floors and they work when and how they want. During our stay they had to repair two, so most of the time one was out of order (the repairs went into the night with very loud “bangs”). In addition, the hotel...

"This was absolutely fabulous! The buffet in the mornings were the best part to start your day with fresh omelets and freshly squeezed juices with all of the bells and whistles of a buffet. I would definitely come back to stay."

"Place is nice enough- it is a Waldorf Astoria and at least makes an attempt to live up to the brand reputation. However, I stayed there when it was pretty new maybe 10 years ago and they definitely have let it go a bit. Also staff wasn’t always the most helpful and the amenities were lackluster for a hotel in the Waldorf Astoria family."
