"Breakfast was great and had a wide selection, including some Panamanian dishes. The dining area also has outdoor seating overlooking the pool. The pool area is nice, however you have to get there early if you need an umbrella. "

"Unfortunately, this stay was a huge disappointment. We visit Panama frequently to see family and friends and usually choose El Cangrejo as our favorite neighborhood. Hotel El Principe used to be one of our top choices, but after this experience, that is no longer the case. The issues began at check-in, which was incredibly slow. "Pros: Property is centrally located and offers a good price. Room was generally clean. Cons: In need of maintainence and updates. The breakfast was lack luster and the food in the restaurant was not up to standard. It's best to eat out. Finally, the elevators were extremely slow and required a significant waiting time during peak times and even during regular use."
