"Had a great dinner on the roof deck, with views of the city. Had an early flight, so missed breakfast, but the staff prepared a takeaway meal of sandwiches, yogurt, and apples. Hotel was very clean and modern. Staff was very helpful and thoughtful."

The property is more faded glory than grand. 1980s high quality was evident but has not aged well. Overall property quality control definitely lacking. V dated decor and furniture that has seen far too many uses for its star rating. Peeling paint on railings, mismatched furniture with water rings, badly sized rug with curling edges, creating a trip hazard and dirty balcony windows are examples...

"Room immaculately made up every day. Good supply of tea coffee ect. Good fitness centre and pool although chlorine a bit strong. Handy for bus to airport and Valletta. Walking distance to Gozo ferry. Paradise Dive Centre across the road offering try dives, guided dives and dive courses. Would book again "

"Good option with good standard rooms if you're ok to "commute" to the attractions in and around St Paul's bay (or stick to the pool area all day), location has limited food options within walking distance. Room has a kitchen (upgraded maybe) with kettle, microwave, stove and sink but no tea or coffee is provided so bring some as prices will be inflated."

"All the facilities we tried - the pool, breakfast, were great. The staff were great although, on occasions, a little difficult to understand. But this didn't detract from our visit. The only two small reservations we had were: - the size of the Executive room - Room 227 - which was a little small for moving around. "We enjoyed our stay at Verdi Gzira Promenade..Great location to restaurants, ferry to Valletta and boat tours. The room was, quiet, modern and clean but the AC leaked when it was turned off/ removed key. Also the soap was not refilled, had to ask and then it was taken care of. The staff and friendly and helpful. We paid for breakfast which was worth it. Overall great place to stay in Malta"
