"We recently stayed 4 nights at Hotel Zico. The hotel was adequate for our needs. I have never stayed at a hotel where housekeeping only happens every three days, I found that curious and disappointing. I normally leave a tip for the housekeepers based on the number of nights I stay but they only visited our room once. I’m fine reusing my towels etc but a tidy up of the room and bed making would have improved the stay. Location is great but be warned if you are a light sleeper, it’s right next to the freeway. Breakfast was good"

"The hotel location is good: there is a Starbucks and Smart and Final grocery store across the street, along with IN and OUT Burgers 1/2 mile away. The hotel has a very limited grab and go breakfast...not the best. You will want to request a room facing the walking trail because it is quieter; the rooms facing Hwy. 85 are VERY noisy! There is a small outdoor area with trees and a grill for burger making. I LIKED that the rooms have full size refrigerators and microwave plus, hot burners (No stove) The bed mattress in my room felt old and did not have good back support (the mattress was NOT firm)"
