Wonderful staff and accommodation had a 6 night stay that was in the heart of Pompei close to the archaeological sites but far enough out to be peaceful. Wine was excellent and the wine tasting menus great and cost effective. Rooms clean breakfast had a great variety. Will be returning
I can't say enough good things about Bosco De Medici. The room was very clean and well stocked. The staff was helpful and provided us with a converter which we needed. They also provided a tour of the property outside of times when they were normally scheduled. The breakfast was wonderful...especially the pasteries! It is a very well-kept property and excellently run!
The staff are excellent and very helpful.
Our breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice.
Our room was cleaned every day.
The vineyard and the surround were exceptional. Extremely well maintained in a beautiful setting overlooked by Mt Vesuvius.
The main city of Pompeii was a 10 minute walk and transport easily accessible due to two train stations available. We were able to travel around to places such as Herculaneum, Sorrento & Naples.
We really enjoyed our time here in spite of the weather and likely we will check in here again.
Great location near Pompei. Lovely pool, friendly staff especially at the Winery and on reception. Exceptionally quick at responding to email enquiries before stay
I wish I had been able to stay for longer! The location is slightly out of the way, but that is to be expected for the amenities, and it is well worth it. The station (closest station is Santuario), Pompeii entrance (closest is Anfiteatro) and drink/dining options are all still very walkable. It has everything you need if you want a relaxing few days. Equally, I found Pompeii a perfect base for a few days visiting Pompeii, the surrounding sites and Herculaneum (and would pick it over Naples/Sorrento etc). It was a wonderfully relaxing stay, with comfortable rooms, great beds, some/all rooms coming with personal outdoor spaces (I booked a Garden Room and it was well worth it), outdoor spaces and the pool/pool bar area – which comes with a view of Vesuvius. I particularly enjoyed working my way through the home grown wine menu. A special mention must go to the staff, who were all exceptionally friendly and helpful and could not have done more to make this an easy and enjoyable stay. In short, this was a little oasis during a busy holiday - I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Pompeii.
Amazing place , horseback w, breakfast the best the only drawback is the restaurant on site , too expensive! But town is a few minutes away with lots of choices
Great resort kid friendly
amazing breakfast!
Horseback riding available for adults and kids — extensive beautiful grounds.
Only down side the restaurant on site geared for wine tasting not ideal for family dining you will pay a fortune for pasta. Better to go into the town lots of restos and the Pompei archeological site— which is a must and stroller friendly!!
Wish I had spent the whole visit here! This was wonderful, especially for the price! We had saved a little money the night before and regretted it. It's always a huge toss up whether a rental will look anything like the usually-highly-edited photos, but this one did not disappoint. The staff walked us to the room and clearly explainedeverything in good english. The breakfast was INCREDIBLE for a free hotel breakfast (fried potatoes, eggs, bacon, juices, pie, croissants, cereal, yogurt etc.....).
One thing to be aware of, is that the hotel is past the winery/bar, past the stable, to the left, and down a ways. Follow the signs for reception. It was tucked back in there and was wonderfully secluded feeling, though not totally clearly marked or found on google maps.
Thanks guys!

It was a lovely stay that felt tucked away from the hustle and bustle and grit of the city. The pool was relaxing. The rooms were cozy and private. Housekeeping was great. Breakfast had a good variety. All the staff were very helpful with taxis, recommendations, and questions ( and very patient with my poor Italian which I gave up for English lol). We’d definitely stay again and spend more time at winery, restaurant, pool, and horseback riding.
The property was a little unusual but that was a good thing, The staff were exceedingly pleasant and helpful. We did not find time to visit the vineyard
Lovely hotel. Very peaceful location , friendly and helpful staff, nice room and good food.
Although it’s approximately a 20-40 minute walk to the entrance to the Pompeii ruins this was not a problem.
Quite an ok hotel, but the rooms were dark as the windows were small and on the top. All the noise from other rooms and outside could be heard easily into the rooms. The area was quite nice and the swimming pool was a nice plus for the place. The breakfast was quite good and the service was excellent. The wine tasting was a bit disappointing, because the food served with it was minimal and thus the whole thing left a taste of money.
Excellent service, friendly staff, beautiful pool, nice room with an outside table! Walking distance to the archeological park. We did one of their food and wine pairings and it was some of the best food and wines we had during our visit to Italy. The restaurant patio with the vines all around was great. Only two things were a bit tricky: (1) the shower door didn’t fully close and it took some care not to flood the whole bathroom while showering, but we figured it out. (2) the final few miles of the road are a bit narrow, we had a medium sized rental and managed but it would have been harder with a larger car, specially if you are not used to driving in Italy. Otherwise everything was great and we would love to visit again.
