The staff was amazing and went out of their way to accommodate us. Giovanni, the manager , served us and suggested entrees. While the menu is not extensive the daily specials are fresh. The room was spacious and the facilities are well kept. We would definitely stay here again if in the area

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The shuttle to and from the station was a blessing. The pool was an added bonus at the end of a hot day. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them. Beds were comfy, rooms were a good size and views were outstanding.

The owner, Luciano and his crew are, very concerned and helps with anything! I never met, in hotel business, people dedicated to the guest like them! On my scale- 100%+! Hotel is beautiful and views are amazing! Kitchen is running by great chef and Luciano by himself! ❤️ If I’ll be close into that area again, definitely I will stay in Hotel Rosenthal again!!! I was disappointed from the moment I arrived. We only spent one night there and arrived fairly late (after 10 PM). We received our room card and were shown the breakfast time but nothing else. We had no wifi information and did not feel welcomed. When we arrived in the room, it was extremely hot and filled with mosquitoes. Understanding the fact that we were close to Mount Vesuvius, we decided to turn on the air and hope for the best. But we started noticing that the room just look dirty. There were spiderwebs on the ceiling, the sheets were ripped and there was a lot of dirt behind the curtains. The curtains were also stained. You will notice on the pictures uploaded. We only had a few hours before catching our return flight to the states so we decided to push through the night. The AC never seem to kick in, very disappointing. Then we turned on the shower, it was supposed to be a rain shower but we turned it on and a stream of water poured out of the shower right over the glass, so I guess it was broken. We ended up showering with the handheld instead. The one thing I want to highlight is the amazing customer service from an older gentleman in the breakfast area. We did not have breakfast, but ran in there to grab some coffee before heading out and he was the only person in the hotel to welcome us with a smile. He kept offering his service and asking us to eat something. He even waved us goodbye as we left.

good value - nice views - helpful staff

It was a quiet time of year so I am nit picking. The staff were extremely friendly, spoke English and were very helpful indeed. The room was comfortable and clean, so my very minor niggles were:- there was nowhere to sit other than the dressing table stool or the bed, ( outside on the balcony would have been possible had it been warmer - but it was February) there was no decaf coffee, there was no food available in the hotel in the evenings ( possibly because it was a quiet time of year) and there was a bar but not really a bar area as such. Parking directly outside is limited though there is a large carpark adjacent so not really a problem. There are no really local restaurants other than a pizzeria about half a mile away. All that said it was a great place to stay, good value with amazing views of the bay of Naples and Vesuvius. I'm sure the pool is great in the summer and as I say the people were very friendly indeed. If you decide to hire a car in this area though be prepared for the utterly chaotic way the Italians drive - it is survival of the fittest and bravest - hesitate and you are lost. Roads nearby are often narrow, parking and stopping is random, be prepared to be tooted for no reason and watch out for the suicidal pedestrians and swarm of mopeds that come from all directions, often on your side of the road. I loved the area though, Pompeii is spectacular Vesuvius is worth the walk, Herculaneum is small but well preserved and the Amalfi coast is precipitous-enjoy

Nice people, shame about the hotel condition

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. However, the hotel is in need of renovation and doesn't compare to the other 4 star hotels we've stayed in during our European driving holiday.

Unser Zimmer: Sorvento Ich kann dieses Hotel absolut nicht empfehlen. Die Klimaanlage in unserem Zimmer hat nicht funktioniert. Dadurch war es im Zimmer durchgehend sehr warm ( > 27 Grad) und es war nicht möglich, sich längere Zeit entspannt im Zimmer aufzuhalten oder gut zu schlafen (und das bei nur 23 Grad Außentemperatur). Wir haben insgesamt 4 Mal darum gebeten, das zu prüfen und die Klimaanlage auf eine kalte Temperatur einzustellen. Jedes Mal wurde uns versichert, dass die Klimaanlage gleich funktionieren würde. Das ist jedoch nie passiert. Somit haben wir 2 Nächte schlecht geschlafen und beim Aufenthalt im Zimmer durchgehend geschwitzt. Leider konnten wir auch nicht mit offenen Fenstern schlafen, da sich hunderte Insekten aufgrund der lange eingeschalten Außenbeleuchtung direkt von unserem Fenster auf unseren Balkon versammelt haben. Das Zimmer ist insgesamt alt und renovierungsbedürftig. Im Zimmer sind diverse Wände kaputt und im Bad ist Schimmel. Im Zimmer leuchtet eine Lampe über der Tür so hell, dass man eine Schlafmaske zum schlafen benötigte. Das Frühstück ist schrecklich. Kaffee aus einer Thermoskanne Italien?? Es gibt wenig Auswahl beim Essen und die Speisen waren wenig oder gar nicht gewürzt. Es gab fast kein Gemüse, kaum Obst und insgesamt eine eher schlechte Auswahl. Pool: Es gab insgesamt noch 4 Liegen, mit uns waren allerdings 6 Gäste am Pool, sodass die Kinder der andern Gäste keine eigene Liege hatten. Das einzig gute an dem Hotel ist die Aussicht.

Meilleur hôtel à Sperlonga

Hôtel bien situé directement sur la plage et auprès du village historique surélevé de Sperlonga qui s’avère très pittoresque. Belle chambre avec literie confortable et vue sur la plage. Excellent buffet déjeuner.

My wife and I stayed here 7 nights.Upon arriving we were greeted by the receptionist and given the key to the room Verde. The room is spacious with a spacious closet, there is a desk that has side drawers great for storing smaller clothing. The bathroom is a good size with a tub, the shower works well with plenty of hot water. The sink area has plenty room for what you need. There is a balcony that overlooks the Bay of Naples on one side and Mt Vesuvius on the other. The property is gorgeous and well maintained. There's a restaurant on site which was convenient for nights we didn't feel like going out. Breakfast was very good and the gentleman that staffed the area went up and beyond to make you feel at home. If I was to return to the area this would be my choice of hotel.

Amazing hotel in a beautiful setting at the base of Mount Vesuvius. Quiet area even the local roosters sleep late. The staff was even more amazing than the property they couldn’t do enough for us making sure we had everything and anything we needed or wanted. We will return in the near future.

We had an amazing stay. The hotel was lovely and the staff were the best. Could not fault them throughout the stay. They were friendly and extremely helpful constantly ferrying us back and fore to the train station!! Highly recommended. Special shout out to Dario (my personal favourite) Antonio and Giovanni. Thanks guys you made our stay really great

Incredible staff & incredible views. We loved our stay here. The room was not very clean & had some broken furniture I think. But it had all the basics and I would certainly stay here again.
