"Every time we travel to Taupo we stay at Mototere holiday park. It is clean, well maintained and friendly staff. Trout fishing over the road is good. Trucks passing on main road through the night we thought would be a problem, after our first stay it didn't become an issue at all. Only 15 minutes travel from Taupo it is a excellent place to rest up and relax. Thank you Mototere holiday park, we will be back"

"I would not recommend staying here if you want to get a good night's rest. You can literally hear everything through the walls, conversations, doors opening, footsteps, etc. Tried calling management to change my room, but they did not respond to my messages or answer the phone. Very disappointed, in particular to the response I received after I had checked out (see email acknowledging the issue)."

"Room 1 was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The heater worked well, and the bed was very comfortable. My only suggestions for improvement would be to provide extra blankets and electric blankets during the colder weather and to include tea towels for drying the dishes. Overall, I had an enjoyable and comfortable stay."
