"First hotel I’ve stayed in that does not make your bed or change the towels top up toilet roll etc at all unless you go to ask at reception. For me this is a basic requirement of a hotel. The room felt damp for the entire stay. Noisey from wildlife through the night as bathroom window is mesh. Would I stay again- NOT A CHANCE"

"Great location and wonderful views from the room"

"Clean room, great staff, good food and drinks at bar, parking at door of room, was told ahead of time about maintenance ongoing so was great to know. No interruptions by workman during stay. Large room."

"Lots of activities for the kids. Park well maintained"

"Cafes and pubs within walking distance of motel. Easy access. Quiet. Comfy beds. Great showers. Excellent staff"

"What an amazing place to stay, everything it promises to be and more. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle and unwind. Fantastic communication and great host overall."

"Arrived after 5pm and advised that guests are not allowed to check in after 5pm so went to a better motel in bowen"

"Mold in the shower, pillow was that thin i thought there was no pillow in the pillow case, dishes were not clean, one of the blankets smelt like vomit. Very poor for the price"

"Room was spacious but dated - cracked tiles and dirty grout, curtains held on curtain rail with cellotape. Staff were great, really helpful and attentive. Pools were well maintained, really nice feature. Breakfast was a welcome surprise. Really nice. Would stay again because overall very good value for money just needs a little maintenance."

"Nice clean accommodation, located right on Shingley Beach. Short walk to town centre."

"A dated property but very roomy with everything you need. Great staff. Would definitely stay again."

"This place exceeded our expectations, it’s at the top of a hill which is easily walkable so the view is exceptional! The host was so kind and helpful as well and being that we are from Canada we had a few questions! My daughters and I enjoyed ourselves so much, eating dinner on our patio while watching the cockatoos all around us. I highly recommend this place, you won’t regret it!"

"Staff were friendly and good value for the price. I guess we got the short straw because the view from our room was piles upon piles of dirty laundry. Kinda detracts from the whole experience."
