I dread to think what it would be like in a fire – very confusing interior layout and no signs to the staircases, so that you can easily get lost. Not enough parking either. And the postcode is the same as the local railway station - so it’s hard to find unless you know where it is. The breakfast...

"The location was great with a lovely sea view. All the staff were pleasant especially Josh who helped with bags . My only complaint is the standard of the room. It's very dated and needs TLC . Plaster falling off some of the walls. No bedside tables. Old shower curtain. Also breakfast was extra. We spoke with other people who was staying at another hotel cheaper rate with breakfast included. I wouldn't book again."

"We had a wonderful stay at Aberdunant Hall Holiday Park. Our suite was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, and the whole site was beautifully maintained. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The bar and restaurant area were excellent, and the children’s play area was a real bonus for families. "Great location in Barmouth and useful to have a free car park within easy walking distance. Our room appeared to be recently decorated to a high standard with some nice touches like good quality coffee and water supplied. Just to beware that our room was on the top floor and required us to walk up a few flights of stairs although we were offered help with luggage. The main negative for us was the breakfast. Although beautifully served, the quality of some of the items let the main breakfast...

"Good location in beautiful scenery not far from some walks. On a main road but it was completely silent at night. Suite was lovely and bigger than expected, with beautiful views, and a very modern bathroom with a fab shower. The bed did have a weird slope to it though which put our feet higher than our heads! Food in the pub at dinner time was expensive and average, although breakfast was plentiful and good quality. Enjoyed our stay very much. "
