Great hotel with friendly staff

Really nicely decorated, charming Italian hotel. The staff and especially the ladies at reception are super friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Great breakfast with fresh pastries, cakes, eggs cooked on order. Really nice setting and a great base to discover the region, free parking is a big plus too. Absolutely recommend this hotel.

The most beautiful, well-equipped hotel we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. I can't rate this place highly enough! 10/10 for everything. Beds were clean and super comfortable, pillows were amazing. Bathroom was huge and well equipped and the sauna in the room was a fantastic bonus. More than a hotel, a truly real experience

Palazzo Novello is not just a place to stay — it’s a genuine experience. Sleeping here really does feel like spending the night in a small palace. The building, the atmosphere, the details… everything gives it a unique character that goes far beyond the standard 3-star category. The location is about 15 minutes by car from Desenzano del Garda or Sirmione, but it’s absolutely worth the short drive. The property is beautifully maintained, calm, and full of charm. Our room was spacious, elegant, clean and comfortable, with a large bed and a generous bathroom. It may not offer full 5-star amenities (no bathrobes or deluxe toiletries), but it’s clean, practical and beautifully presented. Breakfast was served in a peaceful setting, more than enough in variety — maybe not much in terms of hot options, but still very enjoyable. Free private parking is available on-site (a real plus), and everything works smoothly with codes for entry and check-in, even in such a historical building. The woman at reception was incredibly helpful — she took the time to mark out a suggested route around Lake Garda for us, complete with recommended restaurants. We only stayed one night, and honestly, we wish we had stayed longer. Highly recommended — not just for the price, but because it truly is something special.
