This is a serviceable hotel for staying in Monterosso al Mare. It is quite old and the rooms are small and basic, although everything was in working order. The chief issue is the very poor soundproofing, which can be a problem with noisy neighbors. The positives are excellent location, close to the large parking area and the beach. Questionable as to whether it is 4 stars but certainly fine for a stay if not expecting luxury.

Really enjoyed the location, room and breakfast. Only issue was that the AC in our room was not working well. It was set at 18C but the temperature was much hotter. The hotel staff were very nice about trying to help us but would see that it was set at 18C and say that it takes time to cool. It never did cool down which was an issue for my friend who sleeps in a very cold environment. Otherwise, we highly recommend the hotel!
