"The room is good size with fire place. The staffs are very nice. Breakfast is the best and don’t missed it. Location is great, walking distance to Cannery Row, the Aquarium and Pacific Grove. I will definitely stay here again next time when I am in Monterey."
"This inn is beautifully restored! The furnishings and details are amazing! Breakfast was delicious and the cookies, wine, and charcuterie in the evening were a nice added touch. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean. Staff was warm, friendly, and welcoming. Parking lot is a added plus."
"Over all were good. Nice and clean. Two points of concern. Firstly breakfast area was cramped even when there were not many guests. Secondly light sensor in toilet was either set incorrectly or malfunctioning. It would shut down light every 30 seconds. It could not detect people inside shower room. We had to slide open shower door every 30 seconds or taking shower in complete darkness. If it happened only to our room then it should be fixed before we arrived. "Victorian hotel with ocean views. Right across the street from the ocean. Open your windows at night and listen to the ocean and let it ease you into sleep. Take a short walk to Lover’s Point, the beach or dining. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. Can’t wait to return"
"Clean, large room with friendly and responsive staff just a 10 min walk from one of the best patisseries I’ve ever been to! Only downside is that parking is a bit tight, but I highly recommend this hotel!"
