"Initially, the hotel looked amazing on Expedia with its proximity to Universal Studios Hollywood. However, I had to be switched/upgraded to another room due to my room being filthy with stains everywhere (walls, carpet, headboards, and bathroom). For being recently renovated I was under the impression it would be cleaner and a more enjoyable stay. However I was upgraded but the second room was 50% better. "The staff is wonderful and accommodating.
Bed was comfortable and bedding was nice and great condition.
I do prefer a bed with more of a padded topper, but it’s fine for a few nights and at least it’s not hard as a rock. I definitely can’t sleep on super firm beds.
The whole place is quite dated but they’ve done a decent job with maintenance and cleaning.
The bed, table, and chairs are in good condition and cute style.
The bathrooms can really use a remodel or at least some shower caulking...

"Staff were very friendly and helpful. We liked having the nightlight in the bathroom. There was a parking overflow lot. Only issue we had was a very slow elevator and we ended up using the stairs. We were on the top floor so it was tiring at times but still faster than the one working elevator. You definitely need a car to get around but all the routes were easy to get to from this location. Nice heated pool but you need to go in through front to use the restrooms in the lobby area."

"I was expecting more to this place. Probably the pics are better than the actual place. Upon making reservation, I asked for connecting rooms because I have teenagers. I was told it’s doable. Upon arrival I was told no available connecting rooms. I was really disappointed. Not the nicest encounter with the female receptionist. Oh well lesson learned."

"The cleanliness of this place did not even deserve one star. The AC did not work even though it was ran throughout the night. So the room was musty and hot. It was just not okay. We only stayed because we were tired and just needed a place to sleep."
