I love this property. My corner room with a view of the valley was absolutely awesome. I would recommend this property to anyone who likes a hotel that is 'top class'.

Everything was perfect and I would definately stay here again if i’m in the area. Location is perfect with a short walk to the center. It’s a really beatiful place to visit. It’s like beeing in a painting everywhere.

The hotel is easy to get to , has a private parking lot. Being able to park and not drive in the narrow streets was a blessing. The hotel is located at the edge of town and only a short walk to everything Montalcino has to offer. The staff was excellent and helpful. We will definitely try to stay again!

So let start by saying location, location,location..what a great spot with some of the greatest views in Montalcino. We spent 8 great nights here and were not disappointed.Elisa and Elanora made us feel at home, thank you so much for your hospitality it was very much appreciated. Wine tasting and numerous restaurants are steps away. Truly an amazing town and an amazing place to stay.

What a week enjoying Tuscany's beauty and nature! This Montalcino location is just within the medieval walls, perfect for both the short walk up to the shops, cafes, and restaurants, yet it was very easy to park on-site and head out on daytrips. Aleesa and Sara were amazing hostesses with a friendliness that made us feel like Montalcino family. They really have created a welcoming guest experience in a beautiful setting. Besides getting to know our Montalcino village every day, we also took several daytrips driving around the surrounding Val D'Orcia countryside, which is stunning. Pienza, Terme San Filippi (The White Whale), the monestary, and Montepulciano were favorites. Yet we kept commenting how nice it was to come home to enjoy afternoon wine enjoying our cozy hotel view. Thank you, Hotel Vecchia Oliviera team... we are coming back for sure!

I am writing this as we are flying home from our trip in Italy! We had an incredible stay at Hotel Vecchia Oliviera in Montalcino! The rooms were spacious, the large window opened to a breathtaking view, and Elisa & Eleonora Made our trip incredibly enjoyable with a great breakfast every morning and fantastic recommendations for things to do and see in Montalcino and Tuscany. Small hotel in Montalcino . The location of this place is quiet good : just at the entrance of the small town . The hotel offers parking space , but unfortunately they will cargo 5 Euros if you book your room through Expedia. Isn't fair to be penalized , but it's ok..Rooms are very clean . There is not a great variety for breakfast, but it is enough.Personally , I don't like the 10.00 AM check out .But , at the end , this hotel has a great value .

An absolute GEM!

Wow, what an incredible hotel and experience in Montalcino! The hotel is beautiful and the service was excellent, we felt so welcome and taken care of. The pool and AC were refreshing on a hot summer day, the location is perfect, and the breakfast was great. We were so sad to only stay one night, we will certainly come back!
