We would stay again

A basic hotel. The bedroom has quite an old feel in parts, but clean and nicely decorated. The communal areas were fresh and more modern and the restaurant served very good food. All of the staff were helpful.

Superb quiet hotel with great staff and parking

Stayed here for 2 nights as an emergency place to stay as I had mechanical problems on my bike. The staff were absolutely superb. The receptionist was delightful and very helpful making recommendations on where to visit and how to travel on the excellent, cheap and frequent bus service into town. Car park was very large and felt secure too. There is a big retail park next door which was very handy too. The bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows and bedding superb. A good hot shower and large towels were very much appreciated. Rouen is a spectacular town and 2 days was really insufficient to appreciate everything it has to offer. Would I stay here again ? Most definitely YES !

Over all very nice and value for money

Check in was great, and all the staff very friendly. We had a very nice meal (my wife’s veggie dish was amazing) , and the breakfast was pretty good too. Do try squeezing you own oranges. The place is a little dated in places but they are in the middle of renovations, which did not affect us in any way. Could do with some usb charging points. We asked for some more pillows, which they took from an unoccupied room and they smelt a little musky. They were very comfortable though, as was the bed. We found the location was good, quiet and easy to find. Over all good, and good value for money. I shall stay here again on our next trip.

Change of name but no change to hotel

Works fine for an overnight stay whilst travelling down France. The rooms have been redecorated recently. The hotel has recently changed from Kyriad to Brit but staff and restaurant menu have remained the same.

New owners make a difference

Staff were friendly, rooms repainted and better mechanical ventilation installed post COVID. The thing we noticed most was an improvement in the quality of the food in the restaurant.

DO NOT STAY HERE - the hotel is within Rouen crit air zone and so you need to have registered your car with French authorities, successfully purchased and delivered a personalised sticker in order to get to the hotel without incurring a fine. This information is nowhere and meant that we did not release this until we put the address into google maps and an alert popped up! We ended up having to book and pay for another hotel, and the hotel refused any refund

Awful

Ceiling fan did not work and had never been cleaned, bed linen had not been changed or room cleaned, hair, sweat patches and dirt in all of the beds and clumps of hair stuck to bottom of bed cover. Receptionist was as helpful as she could be but could not offer another room. Hotel manager was called to clean room but was not on site and, given the levels of dirt, we would have had to vacate the room after having already unpacked.

Disappointing

Disappointing have been using as a stopover for over 10 years. It appears to be under new management, on arrival the person at the desk was on a computer but made no attempt to acknowledge us until she had finished what she was doing. The quality of the food in the restaurant has dropped and the prices increased for both dinner and breakfast. The main light in the room was faulty and the shower drain was smelly.

L'accès sur le parking ok, Les dalles de l'allée principale sont défectueuses ( beaucoup de cassées et instables)et donc bruyanteset dangereuses. Chambre : le receveur de douche est tachée, pas très esthétique et agréable. Et pas d'économie d'eau sur la chasse d'eau du wc qui devrait être obligatoire sur un système de volume d'eau usée recevant du public. L'isolation acoustique !

Le personnel est tres serviable c'est le point positif. Point négatif parcontre La chambre 501 est vieille, plinthes en bois décollés, "moquettes" ancienne, la chambre aurait besoin d'une rénovation. Coté douche couche de calcaire sur la grande vitre et la colonne de douche. Vitre du vélux très sale. Petit plus la télé le soir qui a déconné écran noir.
