"The pool is freezing, it’s pretty far from the beach and town 14-20 euro each way. The beds are very uncomfortable, no coffee, no water in room. The kettle needed my converter to plug in. Breakfast was ok, but coffee machine was not working. I booked a double room but was assigned a single. Staff is wonderful and kind."

"The only thing I didn’t like was the surprising lack of power outlets in the room. I’ve never come across this before, even in 100 year old buildings. There was one dedicated to the fridge, one for the electric kettle, and one spare. By contrast, the 3star hotel I’m in now, has six power outlets, including on both sides of the bed. This is not, in my experience excessive, just standard. The 2 star hotel I stayed in Athens also had more than enough outlets. That’s the only fault I can find with...

"Attention to detail and staff friendless was unparalleled. From a button for service at the pool to valets on arrival. Views and food were stunning. While a little slow sometimes with requests, they always made up for it. Spa was cold as they turned heating off a week early. With amazing outdoor pools, spa should be warm always. Add a steam room too. Pure luxury and indulgence overall"

"Most of the staff were friendly and accommodating despite it coming towards end of season, room was spacious but could have been cleaner. The shower was amazing, great water pressure. Air con was loud but worked well. Loved the balcony and views of the sea, but the beach wasn’t very nice so we stuck to the pool, which was huge (and cold) but closed early. "We had a recent stay at the hotel. The staff were welcoming and the atmosphere was tranquil. The hotel had parking for our car. The rooms were a good size and had everything you would need. We used the pool, even though the weather wasn’t quite ready. We were looked after. The atmosphere was chilled. The breakfast had a good variety cooked food, cheeses, cereal, bread/pancakes. The only criticism would be maybe a slightly better vegan option (butter, yoghurt etc). Highly recommend"
