"This property is beautiful with a lobby bar and large clean rooms with nice products in the shower. We checked in around 7:30-8pm and found we could not get in the building without setting up contactless check in through the app. Luckily some one from inside was able to open the door for us and there was a human at the desk to check in with. I'm not a fan of contactless any thing, I would rather deal with a person every time, but I get it may have been for evening security that the doors were locked because in the morning everything was open again. If you stay here and are parking a car, the valet service is good you use an app for payment and to request the car again, just remember that pickup is not in the front, its at the back behind the elevators in the parkade on the lobby level (just a small detail we weren't told so we waited on the street for quite awhile before the valet came to find us). Breakfast was very good in a beautiful space. Great variety, nice juices and delicious coffee, just wish there were ceramic mugs instead of paper cups. Overall a great experience,"

"Sadly I paid for two nights. Checked in the 1st night and went it the casino. When I got back the next morning around 10 am I had to get a replacement key. The front desk guy was real nice gave me a new key and I proceeded to head to my room. Not more then 5 mn pass and the same person come to the door and insisted I was smoking... Bare in mind I was gone all night yet somehow was"

"The property is adjacent to the metro line making it extremely easy to get to the ball game! The room was no frills, just safe and clean. Refrigerator in room but no microwave. Included breakfast is very lame - dry cereal, yogurt, coffee. Overall a straight up property for what I needed, no frills"

"I booked a room at Sheraton Minneapolis Downtown Convention Center a month before my stay. I arrived at the Hotel to check in and the front desk staff got an Oh Crap look on their faces. After a few minutes of looking at theirs screens they told me my reservation was canceled and that they were overbooked. They told me I needed to call Expedia to get relocated. I asked why they canceled my room and they didn't notify me. They said Expedia canceled and I had to call them. I called Expedia and gave my info and the first thing they asked was how was check in and how is my stay at Sheraton Minneapolis Downtown Convention Center going. I told them terrible since the Hotel said my room was canceled. The Expedia rep was confused and asked if the hotel gave a reason. I told him the hotel said Expedia canceled. He was again confused because the records didn't show anything like that. He called the hotel while I was on the phone still and they told him they overbooked. While I was in the hotel figuring this out I got an email from Expedia asking how my stay was going. The day before my stay I got an email from the hotel confirming my reservation. Not sure who really canceled but based on hotel staff reaction and the surprised confused reaction of the Expedia rep it was the hotel that screwed me over."

"This was one of the most comfortable beds. I slept in in a while, and having a Jacuzzi on site was a major plus! After a long day traveling, I needed to get some heat on my back. If we come back to Minneapolis, we will definitely pick this property."
