"I was genuinely impressed with the Golden Nugget in South Lake Tahoe. The room was very clean, modern, and surprisingly spacious. The casino itself may be the cleanest casino I’ve ever visited, and they also had a great craps table. I usually stay and gamble in Reno, so I had no idea South Lake Tahoe had such a nice setup. I walked in and immediately thought, “Wow, this place is really nice.” I’ll definitely be back!"

"Room was clean and quiet but the TV remote was dis-functional. While the room was nice it was quite a walk from all the hotel features. The food was good but I thought the bar drinks were a little over priced. The wife and I were married at the resort many years ago, we will likely come again particularly if they offer any comps."

"The staff here were extremely helpful and cheery. When I requested a room that was easy to get to (I walk with a cane) I got a beautiful 1st floor room. It was conveniently located to the casino and parking. Our waitress at breakfast gave us great service even though we were using free breakfast vouchers. The casino was cozy and not overwhelming. A perfect overnight stay!"

"A wonderful experience! We stayed for two nights and the room was spacious and clean. We loved that the room was stocked with kitchen utensils! The valet was easy to use, and we didn’t have to wait long for our car to be retrieved. Thank you for making our stay a memorable one!"

"The Hotel is very clean and the staff were terrific! There was construction going on outside of our room, so that’s why we marked it as good and not excellent as far as cleanliness. Otherwise it was perfect! The only bummer was that it cost $30.00 to park each day and when we got our email about what to expect it said mandatory valet. Hotels.com did not say anything about that, so we were really thrown off when we read that. Thankfully we were able to self park but we still had to pay the $30.00. We will definitely want to stay there again, but hopefully they change thier parking arrangements once the construction is over with."
