Some time after making the reservation I called to ask how to check-in given that it said there is no front desk and I didn't receive any instructions. I was told in German they are fully booked, despite having a confirmed reservation (and the hotels.com website having several rooms there). "Near to nature, yummy bavarian food in the restaurant, friendly people, very nice indoorpool for relaxed swimming."

"Its fine and certainly well located, but very basic. Sheets pretty rough and the towel had been left in a washer too long. Very musty smelling. Be warned, hotel is right under bell tower and you do hear it throughout the night if window is open."

"Das familiengeführte Hotel ist insgesamt sehr angenehm. Es hat sehr schön einegrichtete Zimmer mit einem modernen Bad. Herr Bugl ist sehr freundlich und umgänglich. Der Anlass meiner Reise hierher war dienstlich, dennoch konnte ich mich gut erholen. Wenn ich hier in der Gegend wieder einmal zu tun habe, werde ich wieder im Buglhof übernachten."
