"Why we've chosen Marriott Waikiki Beach Hotel and Spa for 2 years in a row as our top favorite hotel and spa in Oahu!! What We Did: We booked through Expedia and chose a Jr. suite which wascorner room with two queen beds overlooking beautiful Waikiki Beach. Expedia also arranged a Tesla rental through Budget/Avis which was such a fun first-time experience for us. We enjoyed dining at all of the Marriotts hotel restaurants - it was so relaxing to order food and bring it back to our room to enjoy on the balcony with the ocean view. The nearby ABC Store was incredibly convenient for everything we needed, from quick $10 sushi lunches to fresh fruit every day. We also loved all the fresh poke bowl and acai spots on nearly every corner - clean, healthy, and delicious. Every morning, we watched the sidewalks being power washed to perfection, and even got to see the Hawaiian crews trimming the towering palm trees high above the streets. One of my favorite experiences was spending a day at the hotel spa, where I had a wonderful hot stone massage that truly helped relieve my lymphedema discomfort. Another thoughtful touch - the hotel surprised our graduate with a beautiful box of graduation chocolates, which meant so much to us. Thank you to Mark, the General Manager, and your entire team for making our stay so unforgettable. You are truly doing an amazing job! "Not only is this hotel across the street from the beach, everything about it was great! The staff is very welcoming and helpful. We arrived earlier than check in and thankfully it was possible to check in earlier. They have many great amenities! We were able to check beach chairs out as well as towels at no extra cost which was super convenient when going to the beach. They also provided reusable water bottles which can be refilled throughout the hotel, again, at no cost. They are currently under construction as it seems they are making renovations but I’m sure they have more great things planned. Definitely would return!!"

"Amazing stay! The property sits right on the beach. Loved the Mai Tai bar and Surf Lanai - the pink pancakes were truly delicious. The staff was incredible and really elevated our stay there. The room was gorgeous - we had previously stayed at the Sheraton right across the way, and it doesn’t have the same historic feel like the Royal Hawaiian does. Definitely recommend!"
