"We had a great stay. The villa is surrounded by trees and is isolated yet not too far from the main roads. Our room was spacious and clean. The villa can rent out scooters and exchange money. "We stayed a night in September 2025 at the Happy Banana Hotel in Galle (Unawatuna), Sri Lanka. Due to plumbing works, water supply was off for a while. However, the living was homely, night music and people’s crowd was entertaining, and breakfast at the beach was astounding."

"The guest house looked very nice and on the second floor was the breakfast tables but we had our room on the ground floor and the room was very dark and the bathroom was old. There was not a lamp near the bed so you could not read in the evening. The host family was very friendly and we used e.g. the washing service."
