"We chose this hotel because of its location to the Tokyo Marathon start line, which was about a 15-minute walk away. The hotel is also located near some great basic restaurants, an incredible park, and numerous subway lines. We would stay here again."

"Perfect place if you want to be at the center of it all. Didn’t really use many of the amenities because we were just using the room to sleep then would get on with our day but it has everything you need. The beds are clean, they give you clean towels, Japanese robes, toiletries daily. Housekeeping comes every 2-3 days unless you request them to clean sooner than that. Overall a it’s great hotel for someone who just wants a clean place to stay at before tackling on your activities the next day "

"The room, though small, was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly. There is a Family Mart across the street and a 711 around the corner, as well as a Don Quijote. Kabukicho is known as a “bad” area, but I did not feel unsafe at any time walking from Shinjuku station to the hotel. The hotel itself is on a busy street with many people. Just north of the hotel is a nice neighbourhood with many cafes and restaurants. There are several train stations within 10-15 mins walk. The onsen was a nice amenity to have "

"Nice hotel, inexpensive option for Tokyo, the rooms are small but clean, all the staff are great! Right across the street from a park, walk to train station and Kabukichō district, plenty of "local food" places around if you want to try real local food and not tourist food."

"Clean but we had a really really really small room. I am aware that rooms are generally small in Tokyo but the size was not specified while we booked. So we had a shock when we went in. Now we know why it wasn't stated about the size while other rooms have. "

"Great location to be right in the heart of Shinjuku very bustling and lively. All the shops you need close by and many many food options. We stayed two nights and not a lot to do in terms of tourist attractions in the direct vicinity, used as a base to access other areas. Would recommend if you want that lovely vibe, but if wanting to tick off more tourist itineraries this could only be a day/evening half day trip. The beds were not comfortable at all, on like stretcher legs no bed base for support so were creaky."
