"Nice clean room. Really big bathroom Very hot but it was a hot evening outside The check-in was weird because we were asked to pay £5 for parking which wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the booking process. Considering it’s a motorway services accommodation, there’s really no choice unless we parachuted in. The hotel should have the honesty to include it in the price at booking."

"Lovely 2 night stay, great value via Expedia. Was in the area for a concert at Warwick Arts, visits to Kenilworth Castle and Stoneleigh and proved ideal location. Not at all snooty or stuffy like some country hotels. Clean modern bathroom, comfortable bed, good breakfast, pleasant walks from hotel, well equipped gym. Lots of hotels in this area, glad we chose this one."

"The staff was excellent. Possibly the kindest and most helpful of any hotel I've visited, and I've been to a lot. My issues were unique to our needs. 1. We needed the laundry facilities, and although they are listed here on Expedia, they do not have any. 2. We needed access to halls 1-4 at the NEC. The "16 minute walk" that is listed is to the other side of the NEC. Unfortunately this meant we actually had a 40 minute walk there and back each day. If those weren't issues, I would happy...

"No bar, , no restaurant , no Wi-Fi , not pre warned of this . Disappointing ."

"Beautiful old main building and well constructed new wing that blended seamlessly with the old main Hall. However, due to the layout and lack of lifts it meant a really long walk from our room to the main reception area. The Hotel seemed to have a lack of staff - the very nice mature lady at reception, was multitasking and ended up carrying our bags up to the room. This staff shortage manifested itself later when we went to have dinner - to be told that the gas was off in the kitchen and...

"Overall an okay stay. Our room did not look like it had been fully cleaned when we arrived, there was a empty packet on the floor by the bed and the glass on the wardrobe was covered in finger marks. The room was also hotter inside than outside with no real way of opening window and a very small fan provided for us. I am glad they offered the fan but honestly it was the hottest room I have been in in years. The prices at the bar were appalling considering there was nowhere else to go for 10...

"Beautiful setting near a canal, room was lovely a huge bed! Slept really well, staff so friendly and welcoming. Food was lovely in the restaurant staff very helpful, definitely be going back there and recommend to my friends."

"Dirt in the room and under the bed. Staff generally good. Booking came with a room upgrade due to status. Room upgrade didn’t occur despite the hotel being empty and having availability on their website. Emailed the hotel through Expedia app (replying to the message they sent me) asking questions. That was ignored and not responded to. Dinner food quality was poor considering my the level they quote themselves to be at and prices charged. Ice cream for dessert clearly suffering from freezer burn...

"This is the third time I've stayed here and honestly every time it gets worse. The hotel is beautiful and the location convinient. But thats all.... I came down for breakfast at 9am (breakfast is surved until 10am) and there was barely anything left, no joices, no milk couple of slices of bread,no tea bags. And there was a table reserved for 20 people so they knew that they had a lot of people coming for breakfast still. I was sat down for 30 minutes at no point did they bring anything new...
