Easy parking. Chris the desk guy ( manager?) was friendly and helpful. The place is in need of sprucing up, but they are in the process of doing so and it's actually kind of a cool funky artsy place, very unique. Not your boring same old cookie cutter cheap hotel . I liked it, and Chris showed us the things he is doing to improve it and I liked his plan. In any case, the price was excellent and the bed comfy ( we were in a private room) I'd be happy to go back.

This is a really good hostel. The location & nearby restaurants are excellent. I enjoyed the property’s backyard. It was very relaxing. The room was clean & comfortable. I would also like to thank James & Chris for going above & beyond to make my stay great. I highly recommend staying here!

If you're up for adventure you should try this out. Inexpensive, but with eccentricities. Common bathrooms and commercial kitchen. Cool outdoor shower. Amazing, huge private courtyard with waterfall and treehouse. Cross between Europe and Island living.

Special place with such sweet hosts

We were completely suprised by the super cool backyard, christmas lights decorated the trees, there was a fishpond and beautiful little pool, rabbits and a treehouse! The whole place seemed a little bit like a fairytale and chris, who managed the place, just went above and beyond at making us feel comfortable! We really appreciated such an excellent host. The house itself seems a bit rundown but charming. The only thing I didn´t care for was the smell of the kitchen, which I thought was unpleasant. All in all a special experience at a great price, we would come again.

The ones that person I interacted with seem to be pleasant and professional. So much potential for this property and you can tell that he works hard I trying to update it. We just visited November 7th 2025. All of those beautiful areas fountains pools that you see in this pictures none of those are there right now. There is a treehouse and you can climb up to. It will give you a view from about 7 ft off the ground but when you're staring at nothing but dirt and the entire complex the view is not that great. I got a single queen bedroom it was air conditioning however it was a small window air conditioning unit that had been turned off before we arrived so it was warm in that room and took a long time for it to cool down. There was a bathroom located adjacent to our room. The bathroom was a Sherry bathroom however I never had any trouble with people in the bathroom when I needed to go. I can't tell you the water pressure in that bathroom would not be sufficient to fill up a balloon. Perhaps standing under drool would be more efficient.

Booked this at my partner's insistence (based on reviews) and as a starting point/ backup for our florida keys road trip - on entering the property, we were both so impressed with the welcoming vibe of the owner and staff, combined with the incredible beauty of the courtyard / backyard that we ended up booking a second night to extend our time in that space and pushing our road trip back a few days. As many have said, the open space area especially the natural spring pool was peaceful, magical and meditative - I used it by myself at night, felt very comfortable and safe, and we also used it in the day. As a grown adult, I had the time of my life having fun climbing the tree house, playing on the tree swings, fawning over the rabbits, and being calmed by the overlapping sounds of running water and the natural beauty of the space. I was concerned about sharing a bathroom - which was very clean on our arrival (though that deteriorated through the night - this comes with the territory of sharing bathrooms with strangers). We ended up booking a second night and moving rooms due to availability, the bathroom was fine after that. There is also an outdoor shower which was such a luxury to experience. As a younger female, I felt very safe and comfortable; I found the staff (and guests) to be kind, respectable and generous. Extra shout out James, Chris and Omar and of course Michael for creating and curating such a beautiful space and energy.

This hotel is in the process of being expanded. It has a natural springs pool and an amazing tree house in the back, along with covered seating. More features are being added which will make it amazing. That’s the good part. The structure is old and while ok, still needs some TLC. My room refrigerator leaked a little, and the window A/C unit temp adjustment was broken so it had to be turned off periodically when the room was frozen, and then turned back on when it was roasting. Staff were a bit hard to find at check-in, but once I found them, they were very helpful. I really enjoyed my stay and plan to revisit next year.
