"Old and dirty Hotel. This should be a 2 star hotel. I have stayed ay La Quinta hotels before that are cleaner and in better condition. The pictures of the rooms are photo-shopped and deceiving. We stayed for 5 nights, they said room service will be done on day 3. They didn't. I had to call them on day 4 multiple times and still no room service. They finally cleaned my room only after I threatened to checkout on day 4 and request a refund. not worth the money to stay here. "

"This hotel was basic and average. The rooms need updating. My air conditioning unit had a terrible mildew odor that I could not get rid of, even after purchasing air fresheners for the room. The carpet in the hallway outside my room was a tripping hazard as it was loose and made it tough to even roll my suitcase down the hall. The staff didn’t really seem to care when guests had questions or needed assistance- when I asked about the operating hours of the bar and restaurant, for example, the desk clerk had no idea when they were open and told me I could “go out to the pool area and check” if I really wanted to know. I paid for a room upgrade to the ocean front view, but was instead given a room looking at the hotel next door and the rooftop of the lobby. I had to keep my balcony door close so that the crows, pigeons and seagulls didn’t get into my room. Parking was ridiculously expensive and off property. Glad I didn’t have a disability as it was a couple of blocks away and the close spots were taken with the Sixt car rentals. Overall, I wouldn’t stay again. There are too many other, better options in Miami Beach. "

"Continental breakfast was just ok, nothing fancy. Room and ocean view balcony was beautifull , only thing is i could hear the man in the next room snoring cause it was a joining room. I wasnt aware it was going to be a joining room . But other than that the hotel is in a great location and it was clean. Outdated but still good."

"I prepaid for a room with a balcony and oceanciew (have a pucture of the reservation) when i got to the hotel they didn't give me a room with a balcony even after showing them the picture and they blamed it on hotela.com. No problem we took the room and they asked for a cresit card for incodentals and charged $2100 on the card. No problem. They next day they added another $3500 on the card and they denied they did it. Had the manager speak with my bank then she apologized and said it will be taken care of. It never happened. When i left i got a receipt that everything was paid. The next day i still had the $3500 on my card and now hthey added anothe r $1800. Today is 48 hrs agter departure, now i got an email saying i did not prepay for the reservation. I just sent them a receipt of the payment. We are dealing either with crooks or incompetent people not sure which ones yet. What a ridiculous experience. "
