The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The manager was helpful and kind. We had a great sleep. The motel has a comfortable lounging area in the yard, and is just across the street from the beach, so it is in a great location, and well priced.

Well located, many beaches and restaurants near by. However, located on the Nepean Highway where audible fast moving traffic and cars filling at the petrol station next door starts at 4am and slows down around midnight. Family rooms face the road. Traffic noise is particularly loud in room 8 on the ground floor. Mia very kindly and empathetically moved us to another quieter room making it possible to sleep after the first night. But this was after some persistence at the front reception who first offered ear plugs, then asked 'what were we hoping for as a solution' to the loud traffic noise.

Lovely spot, bright and cheerful

Clean and comfortable with lots of added touches like ear plugs although the area wasn’t too noisy. Great cafes and supermarket just down the road and on the bay so lovely location to take a walk. I loved the real plant growing in the bathroom. My one negative was that the tiles in the shower were a bit slippery which I think Was from too much cleaning product

It was only 4 minutes from The Baths. Great location. Quiet. There was just a noise like running water the whole night. One tiny bug in the bed but nothing serious. All in all, I had a good stay. I loved that it had all I needed for my short stay.

This property has everything one could possibly require while away for a few days on the Peninsula. Furthermore everything was modern and impeccably clean. It felt slightly weird not having to check in or out, and the use of a door code was slightly tricky until we got used to it. The immediate surrounds of Moody's Motel are lovely and contain a lovely garden and BBQ area. The property's location right beside a petrol station at first was slightly off-putting, but proved not to be an issue - in fact, when we ran out of milk, it was available from the shop! This motel is a gem!

I loved this property. Amazing price for the location. I loved the contactless after hours easy entry and numbered carpark right outside the door. The room was renovated, exactly as the photos show. Very well designed and had everything you need. Large TV with Netflix, microwave, cutlery and plates. Very clean room and bathroom. Nice large shower with lots of water pressure. Definitely recommend and I will stay again.

Location and value for money

If you have a back room it’s quiet despite the highway outside.Location is perfect as it’s close to Blairgowrie shops, the beach across the road and a quiet garden out the back. The motel like room is small but very well designed to make maximum use of the space. Everything we needed was provided.TV doesn’t get ABC properly.

After quite a time searching for a property we could actually afford, we came across Moody’s Motel. So glad we did. Although on the main road, this property was a delight to stay at. I was a little worried when I saw they supplied ear plugs but needn’t have worried. We were not bothered by road noise from early evening onwards and had a good sleep. The room was bright and a good size. It was also well appointed with crockery and cutlery supplied. The bed was very comfortable, water was hot and WiFi good. For the price it is really good. No-one was at reception so we didn’t get to see anyone but the contactless check in was easy and instructions sent by text, very clear. Parking is right outside your door. The property is within walking distance of a few shops and a number of restaurants. We would definitely stay again.
