I had 4 nights at the motel and it was perfect for my needs and exactly what I expected. It is a great location in terms of being able to walk to Abbotsford, Richmond, Collingwood or Fitzroy pubs. The bed was good and the bathroom was fine. Not a place I'd bring my wife but perfect for a bloke having a few nights in town.

Convenient location and free parking, close to the city. A lot of noise from neighbouring rooms at all hours and room needed to be aired for quite a while when we first entered.

Despite this property showing its age, and it would appear in the process of upgrading it was clean and tidy. If you are just after a room for a couple nights fits the bill. The hotel on the corner great for a quick meal and mcds just around corner good for quick coffee

Good clean accomodation and handy to the area attractions. Also secure parking. The lack of pleasing facilities in the room meant that it was only suitable for sleeping and not conducive to kicking back and relaxing prior to going out.

Reception was friendly and offered to store my luggage as I had arrived early. The room was clean and all facilities worked. I had an excellent night's rest. This hotel represents fantastic value for money and I would certainly stay there again. Just one minor suggestion: Perhaps put a couple of long-life milk tubs in the refrigerator for making tea?

Good Value

Older style motel, but priced down accordingly, so no issues there. Free parking and a very comfortable bed made up for that too. The only issue was that there was no milk provided for the coffee/tea. So i recommend this place, also owing to the handy location, but caution you to bring your own milk.

Location and parking is great. The spa room doesnt have a spa just a typical household bath. There is no breakfast as stated in the add. The bed was uncomfortable and needs replacing as do the pillows. Minimal bedding and towels provided along with very minimal bathroom products. Including the handsoap that was nearly empty. Location was worth the stay.

The property is conveniently located just off Hoddle St. I was provided early check in which was great. The bed was comfort and made well. Good stuff stops there for this 3 Star accomodation. The room had a terrible smell which made me ill. The bathroom was in poor condition and the shower appeared particularly dirty. The paint job in the room made it seem much worse than it perhaps truly is. The live band played till midnight Saturday - pack your ear plugs if you’re not joining the fun!

Stated that you have breakfast included , but when asked they offered dry bread slices and milk. Pillows is so hard to sleep on and the overall cleanliness is bad. Although not that expensive not going back again.

I looked for a cheap motel in a decent location but it could have been cheaper. The room was awful. Burn hole in the duvet, old, worn out, quite dirty bathroom. Unfriendly staff. Blue paint on the ceiling, a domestic incident on stairwell in middle of night. Didn’t feel safe. No cleaning during the stay- shouldn’t it be an expectation that towels are changed and basic cleaning done daily? Maybe not for the price. I wouldn’t advise anyone to stay here.

Last visit ever.

Well. Where to start. I have stayed at this location for a number of years and watched it decline with each visit. What started as a good value for money convenient location has turned into a grotty venue that you want to clean first before using. Air con hasn’t worked the last two times I stayed. I went and bought an air freshener for the room as it smelt of cigarettes and dirty bathroom. It now looks like they have half way house residents and on this my final stay here had a domestic violence incident with someone ramming the front door with a shopping trolley to get in. This place needs to be closed for a good clean and refurb. In a great location but vile condition.
