"Excellent views, great value for money. Ideal location. Need to have facilities for late check in did travelling from far. Does not have car park of its own but plenty of free parking near by."

"Room was of exalent standard and the staff very attentive and polite."

"People were great and the hotel was excellent"

"I particularly liked that the room had a small kitchenette which is ideal if you're a solo traveller and don't always want to go out for meals."

"The hotel’s location was excellent, right in the town centre and next to the sea. The staff were also very friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was very good, with a great choice of both hot and continental options. The room was spacious and a good size, but unfortunately, it was not well maintained. It looked like the room had not been decorated or properly maintained for quite some time and would definitely benefit from some refurbishment. The bathroom was one...

"Where to start? Adri and The New England were amazing! Such a welcoming and gracious host - always remembering our names and so helpful. Breakfasts were amazing and we felt so at home. Adri even volunteered to do some laundry for us!! It was the best stay of our 3 week Ireland dnd UK vacation."

"Receptionist excellent room lovely"

"Great buffet breakfast. No lunch needed on either day of our stay!"

"Quick overnight stay, hotel well placed for Sunday afternoon on the Pier and close to the Congress Theatre for my evening concert, likewist 15 odd min walk from Eastbourne Train Station, Stff very helpful, bed room reasonale size with large bathroom (with bath). Coffee/ tea etc in room. Room nice and warm overnight (didn't try T.V. but used the fridge). Will definately book there again if a concert comes up."

"I stayed in a single room for two nights. The room was very cosy, clean, and comfortable. The shower runs hot, which they do warn you about, and shampoo, conditioner, and body wash is provided. The shared areas (lounge and dining) were lovely, decorated and furnished beautifully. There were even board games provided. In the dining area, there's a shared fridge and microwave free for guests to use. Breakfast was food, providing a mix of hot food and cold (cereal). Staff were also friendly....

"Hotel looks lovely from the outside but inside it's shabby, tired and in desperate need of renovation. The room (308) was very tatty with trims and fittings broken and falling off. The toilet roll holder was held on by a screw and the cupboard door under the sink was hanging off. The mirrors and stainless steel fittings were peeling off. Walls between rooms were paper things meaning we heard EVERYTHING our neighbours were up to! We asked to have dinner and breakfast in the restaurant but was...

"I loved the view out the windows, and the breakfast was delicious. The room was clean and neat and new. The 60 stairs were a lot with our luggage but thankfully I have a very fit husband! We will be back some day."

"Absolutely no problems with my stay , any questions asked of reception staff were quickly answered I had a single room which was on the smaller size but still plenty of room with wardrobe, small Chester drawers with tea, milk etc on top, a round table and chair with a side top next to bed. Hotel right opposite beach and 5 minutes to pier and main street leading to town and station (15=20 mins)"
