You're back in a gated part of the city, so can be a little tricky to find, but the room was clean and accessible, the location is ideally situated (super close to shops and restaurants, but quiet at night) and the staff could not have been nicer. "The Excelsior Palace is outstanding. Beautiful hotel in the heart of Taormina with a huge pool overlooking the Sea. Rooms are updated and very comfortable, many facing the beautiful Mount Etna. Delicious breakfast buffet with accommodating staff. Bar/cafe at the pool is perfect for a cocktail and salad or piadina while floating in the pool. I’ve stayed here three times and cannot wait to return!"
