"Our room was the perfect size and clean. The staff is very helpful arranging for the free shuttle to Mackinaw Island. The view was beautiful and the included breakfast was good. I liked the beach decor. I did not like the tv setup but many hotels have a difficult system to maneuver these days. Just old cable shows"

"I rented an Accessible Room, I am a Bilateral AKA traveler. There was a shower but the hand held shower head I could not reach if I could have used the bathroom! No wall fold down chair or shower removable chair. When questioned staff they stated that they meet ADA requirements! Yet they have violated every clause of ADA, false advertising. I could not use there breakfast amenities due to no room for someone in a wheelchair or for that matter a walker would not get through their facilities! If...

"This little motel was THE PERFECT stay while I was in St. Ignace for 4 days. I love the vintage-feel of the motel and the newly-updated rooms! Bed was super comfortable and so was the recliner in the room. Room was super clean and had everything I needed. When I come back to St. Ignace, I will always stay at The Cedars!!!!!!! I recommend this super nice motel to everyone!!! 🌟🌟🌟"

"Worst stay ever. The room had a strong unpleasant odor, and the heater was not working properly. Despite the cold weather, the room never got warm enough, making the stay very uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the shower curtain and curtain rod were already broken when we arrived, which showed a lack of maintenance and attention to basic room upkeep. Overall, the hotel did not meet even basic expectations for comfort and cleanliness. I would not stay here again."

"Nothing can be blamed on front line staff when it comes to this disgrace of a hotel. This is a matter attributed to owner/management. The rooms were in a horrible state with stains on the floors, carpets, etc. The bathrooms, plaster, and fixtures were rusted and falling apart. Breakfast was disgusting and consisted of a picture of Fruit Loops taped to a plastic dispenser, an unplugged waffle maker, along with a coffee and juice dispenser, both of which weren’t functioning. "The room was spacious and had a nice view of the lake. I couldn't get a good night's sleep because it was so loud. Not that there were loud people, but because the building is so old and poorly insulated that you can hear everything happening in other rooms like it's in your room."

"We booked our stay at this hotel and found it to be in a great location for shopping and eating. The real issue is the facilities are outdated and the place needs to be renovated. Our toilet was not mounted properly, the wall paper was poorly maintained and the overall decor of the room was extremely dated. The beach access was nice, but there needs to be better maintenance of the area and lounge chairs on the beach. We will not be staying here again in the future, unless they put some money...

"The property was clean and the deluxe room spacious. It was basic but clean. The pillows marginal but bed comfortable. The outdoor seating area was very small but good for a quick meal outside for a group of 2-4. We did not use the pool area. The ice machine was working and helpful. The coffee situation was only in the room in a mini pot without a decaf option. There is no breakfast option. Walking within 2 blocks of several restaurants and shops. Was tourist area pricing ( high) for amenities."

"I booked a room at Bridge View and once we got there we seen a paper taped to the “lobby” door that we had to go next to the hotel called Sunset. That wasn’t in the booking information! My family woke up early and drove for 4 1/2 hours to get to St. Ignace along with exploring the island all day. So to my surprise once we go to our room there were cobwebs all over the walls, in the bathroom, and covering the screen door with an unbelievable amount of dead bugs and spiders galore in the webs!...

"The room we stayed in was clean, just basic. We stayed at the budget inn and they make it very clear through the booking and on the lobby door of the budget inn that you checkin/out at the Thunderbird Inn next door.
