THE CHECK IN PROCESS WAS ALL DONE BY PAPER AND YOU NEEDED TO DOWNLOAD AN APP CALLED WHATSAPP TO COMMUNICATE WITH THE HOTEL. THERE IS NO ONE IN THE FRONT DESK HALF THE TIME, THE ROOMS WERE VERY DIRTY AND HAD ROACHES BIG AND SMALL, HAD TO REQUEST RAID TO SPRAY AROUND THE FRONT DOOR. BEDDING WAS DIRTY AND DINGY, NO FITTED SHEETS, TOWELS WERE STAINED AND DINGY AS WELL, THANKFUL I TOOK MY OWN. NO SNACKS OR WATER OFFERED IF ANY WERE OFFRED THERE WAS AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE. POOL AREA WAS OK BUT DIDN'T SEEM THAT THEY TESTED THE WATERS FOR SANITARY LEVELS SO DIDN'T RISK IT.

Second time we stay at Casa Lulu and always a great experience. Staff is friendly, rooms are clean, and very attentive. If you want to enjoy Mazatlan and be in the quiet side of it. Casa Lulu is definitely the place to stay for your trip.

The staff was nice and willing to help, and the property itself was comfortable. I stayed in the Cactus room, which doesn't have a view. Unfortunately, my TV wasn’t working (they didn't offer anything besides we are sorry), there were too many mosquitoes inside the room, and the housekeeper didn’t change the bedding, which I felt needed to be done since I stayed for three nights. Here are a few details to consider if you want to stay here: - The property is located in a rural area, so there are no amenities nearby, such as supermarkets or stores. - It is close to downtown Mazatlán (Centro de Mazatlán). - The walking distance to various attractions depends on how much you enjoy walking; most places are around a 15-minute walk and involve some hills. - Be sure to bring your own mosquito repellent. - The noise level is moderate. - The bed is extremely comfortable. - The staff is nice and helpful.

My wife and I stayed at Casa Lulu in the Sunset suite. The whole property was very clean, well maintained, the pool sparkling, the common areas welcoming and comfortable. The staff were very attentive whenever asked. Our knowing only English was not difficult for them at all. The served breakfasts were a nice start to our day. Thank you so much for making our first Mazatlán visit special. We will not hesitate to rebook into Casa Lulu when we next visit.

Great hotel on a perfect location to have easy access to the malecón for a good morning walking workout. Unobtrusive service , cool vibe , well appointed dwellings with a realxing whitewash design. It just works. I did not have the time to try the pool but it looked just fine , a great place to watch the sunset which is never the same. I would definitely go back to this quaint establishment on my next trip down to Mazatlán.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is a little beat up and could use a refresh. Handles missing on storage cabinets, cracked tiles in the bathroom, lots of bird droppings on the deck with made it unappealing to sit outside. The hotel ran out of water on our last night and we returned from a sweaty walk (July in Mazatlan!) and we unable to shower which was pretty awful. There was a water delivery truck when we left for our morning walk the next day. Thank goodness! The bed was ok-we have slept on worse ones while staying in Mazatlan. Our biggest complaint would be the neighbourhood noise. My goodness it is noisy here. The hotel is on a corner and faces the Malecon and a very busy road. Mexican people like to cruise from Thursday to Sunday and the music and the general traffic noises made it difficult to sleep. I don’t know if I would stay here again.
