"Loved the fact that the cleaning staff not only took out the towels each day, but still swept and mopped (most days). It was a bit challenging getting new towels and wash clothes, but they would bring them up at some time during the day. The room was a good size and it was nice having the full kitchen with dishes, fridge, and our own washer and dryer (to keep up with our swim gear and towels). We would have loved to stay in this hotel if they had one on the Hilo side as well. Best bang for your buck and nearby lots of shops- Check out the Island Market (best deal for meals in the area for you and your family). We would recommend this and hope to stay in the future if we visit the big Island. We were not overly pressured to buy a timeshare either. Yes, they will go over the opportunity, but they will let you enjoy your stay and not be hounded. Lastly, although it is a very busy tourists location, the building was quiet, the rooms are a bit spread out and we hardly saw anyone in the hallway or elevator. One of the only Cons: there aren't many eating spots that are affordable that kids would enjoy- that would be a bonus. We should have bought food and made meals there, but we were out having too much fun."

8/10 Good
"We got everything we asked for and needed, but happened to be there during their restaurant remodel. Listening to jackhammers in the lobby isn’t very relaxing. I’m sure my 4/5 ratings would go 5/5 once they’re done."
"This is an impeccable property. The staff are all excellent, knowledgeable and very helpful. Access to snorkeling, bikes, and water. Activities is superb. And the property is very well-maintained."
