"This was our second stay at a Toyoko property in Japan. Rooms were super clean, great amenities from laundry machines to baggage storage and just a short walk to the train station. The best part was the wonderful Japanese breakfast! Lots of variety and very yummy food to fuel up for a day of sightseeing in Matsue. A very comfortable stay."

"Matsue Urban Hotel was clean and conveniently located across the street from Matsue station. My room included a suitcase stand, one person mini-couch, and small table. I like having my suitcase off the ground and the couch was more comfortable than sitting on a desk chair. Housekeeping wasn't daily, but new towels were left on the door every day. It was a nice hotel and I would stay there again."

"Ohashikan is a long established hotel and we weren't sure how it would measure up. But it far exceeded our expectations. Nicely refurbished city view room on floor 5. Very comfy beds and bedding, efficient air con and superb breakfast. Public baths a very welcome bonus."
