The hotel organized us a night fishing with proper gear (only one per three persons) and knowledgeable fishermen. Afterwards they grilled the catch and prepared us a proper goodbye dinner. It was a semi-legal floating bar about 1 km off the coast of Mathiveri Island in the Maldives. Then one day it sank while the owner was on the island. Now it's a snorkel site, and an impressive one. Free dive about 7 meters down and you can swim around and through the vessel, coming across plenty of colorful marine life and bar supplies left just the way they were! It's an easy boat ride (10 minutes) from the pier on Mathiveri Island. #underwater #shipwreck

"Amazing 3-day stay at Ranthari! Rezaul and the entire friendly, professional team made us feel welcome and taken care of. The rooms were modern, spacious and very clean. (It would be nice to have more hooks or a clothes line to dry out our swim gear). The food was fabulous, and we loved eating our meals outside under the palms at the beach. (We stayed at a nearby luxury resort after we left Ranthari and did not recieve the same level of service and care.) The Ukhulas tourist beach is long and walkable, with a beautiful, long reef an easy swim from the shore. "
