"Great location at Samara. We had booked a room with balcony looking out to the street not realizing it’s a busy street. We got upgraded to a bigger room with pool view without any request. "It’s a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay. The pool is great, and there are hammocks beneath the coconut trees, perfect for unwinding. The air conditioning works well, though there’s no refrigerator in the room. Still looking forward to trying the continental breakfast, but expectations are high."

"Great place, beautiful property in an awesome location. You can do easy hikes through the adjacent reserve, if you walk down the beach you’re in town within 20-30 minutes. Food and service were great and staff was on point throughout the stay. "

"Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects. That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that...

"Loved our stay at Hotel Guiones. Spaciale was a terrific host. Such a great Nosara vibe - very jungly, beautiful pool, restaurant, close to the beach, well stocked with drinks, paths around the rooms were well maintained and we loved our room - unusual to find a place with 3 beds. But our little patio was the best (see photo). Highly recommend!"
