We only stayed one night which was not enough, next time we are staying way longer. This place is great if you want quiet luxury and a base to explore Catania and the many winieries around Etna. "We recently stayed at Dimora Cottanera and had a truly wonderful experience. The setting is absolutely stunning, surrounded by vineyards and beautifully restored buildings. The design blends original features with contemporary industrial elements, creating a unique atmosphere where vintage Italian furniture sits perfectly alongside modern finishes. The staff were exceptional and went above and beyond to help me plan a very special proposal to my partner. Their suggestions and support helped create a truly memorable and romantic occasion. Breakfast was excellent, with a great selection of breads, pastries, cakes, cereals, juices, coffee and freshly prepared egg dishes. The stuffed omelette was a particular favourite. We also enjoyed a fantastic six-course evening meal. The food was delicious throughout, and the wines were outstanding. The 2020 Classic sparkling wine was exceptional and easily comparable to many well-known champagnes. Being able to enjoy wine produced from the vineyard right in front of us made the experience even more special. Our room was immaculate, stylish and comfortable, combining contemporary design with a lovely vintage character. The hot tub was fantastic and became one of the highlights of our stay. Overall, the staff couldn't have done more for us, the surroundings are beautiful, and the attention to detail throughout the property is remarkable. We left with wonderful memories and would highly recommend Dimora Cottanera to anyone."

"This was a wonderful stay in a village close to Mt Etna. Everything was beautiful, the house the mountain, the hosts were very attentive and accommodating. There was plenty of advice for tourism. I met a nice couple passing through at breakfast. What a nice way to meet others traveling if you wish. I highly recommend this lovely quiet casa. There were excellent restaurants in the village and bakery."

"We spent a wonderful week this March at Podere dell’Etna Segreta, and the experience was truly unforgettable. Even with a touch of winter still in the landscape, the beauty and tranquillity of the estate are felt the moment you pass through the gate and approach the main house. Each room has its own fireplace, with wood thoughtfully provided, adding warmth and charm to the peaceful setting. Above the estate, Etna in Bianco dominates the sky, while the view from the villa’s terrace offers a breathtaking panorama of the landscape below. What makes the place truly special is the care and passion of the Grasso family and their dedicated team, who make you feel more like a guest of the family than a visitor. The chef’s creations are exceptional, making every meal a memorable experience, with new dishes already being meticulously planned for the summer season. All of this gives us the perfect reason to return in summer—to see the podere in a completely different light: vineyards heavy with grapes awaiting the right moment for the vendemmia, olive trees full of fruit, and the joy of dining al fresco on the beautiful terrace whilst taking in the beautiful surroundings. "Grand old villa, with grand furniture. Close to Mt Etna cable car, very convenient. Our chef prepared fresh ravioli, and rissoto, plus delicious mains for our meal at night. Followed up with fresh prepared sicilian breakfast in the morning. We got lost due to google maps, and staff came to find us, which was appreciated. Room was comfy and huge, a very enjoyable night."
