Giuseppe was very very helpful. He guided us to great experiences and was so friendly and welcoming. We would love to visit again. The place is beautifully located in a quiet area but still walking distance to some restaurants and a small hike to the beach. We were very happy that we ended up not renting a car since the last street to Antonios Massa Lubrense is very steep and narrow. We will absolutely recommend this place for a wonderful holiday :-)

Our stay was beyond our expectations. The villa is beautiful, the view spectacular and the amenities perfect. Guiseppi goes above and beyond to accommodate and assist with planning outings. Leah's service was outstanding. We loved our breakfast mornings and then evening on our balcony. The little extra time it takes to get there is so worthwhile we decided to spend one day just enjoying the villa. We consider Guiseppi a friend and hope to be his host in California. We highly recommend this experience.

Antonio Massa Lubrense is like paradise on earth! Beautiful grounds and accommodation. The location is great, nearby several coastal towns but far enough from the tourist-y areas so it’s very peaceful. The staff is also incredibly welcoming and helpful! Many thanks to Giuseppe for giving us recommendations on beaches and restaurants to visit. I would definitely stay here again!

If you are looking for a peaceful place on the Amalfi Coast—somewhere you can wake up to the Mediterranean outside your window, step onto your own balcony, feel the breeze, and simply sit with that endless water in front of you—this is the kind of place you hope to find. The view is beautiful, but what stayed with me most was how this place made me feel. The hosts were wonderful—warm, thoughtful, and genuinely welcoming. Their kindness added another beautiful layer to an already unforgettable stay. There are places you stay while traveling, and then there are places that quietly become part of the journey itself. This was one of those places for me. Some of my favorite moments were the simplest ones: sitting on the balcony, watching the light change across the Mediterranean, with nowhere I needed to be. It made me want to stay still and simply experience dolce far niente. I arrived during a reflective part of my travels, and somehow the sea, the quietness, and that endless horizon gave me space to hear myself a little more clearly. No photograph can quite capture what it feels like to wake up to that view. When it was time to leave, I felt genuine gratitude. Some places give you a place to stay. Some give you a beautiful view. And once in a while, a place gives you a memory that stays with you long after you leave. This was one of those places for me.

What an exceptional place! At first, we were a little unsure about the location since the hotel is outside of Sorrento. You take the bus, climb higher and higher into the mountains, pass through the charming village center, and continue up until you arrive at a truly incredible place. The view literally took our breath away. I honestly don’t think anyone could ever get tired of waking up to such a spectacular panorama. The hospitality was outstanding. Giuseppe welcomed us as if we were close friends or family. Every morning, he personally prepared our table and served us a delicious breakfast with such care and attention. The service felt warm, genuine, and highly personalized. This hotel is simply wonderful — beautiful, peaceful, and unforgettable. We absolutely loved our stay and would return without hesitation. I sincerely recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique and memorable experience near Sorrento.

Beautiful Relaxing Hotel

Beautiful place to stay and amazing base for exploring the region. Giuseppe was an amazing host and we had great fun with him and the other residents as well as doing our own thing with the restaurants and bars nearby. Not for the feint hearted if you don't like hilly walks or have a moped/car with you but the whole region is like this.

Difficile à trouver, il faut mieux téléphoner avant. mais une fois arrivés, c'est un petit paradis au milieu des citronniers et des oliviers. Irina est super gentille : merci pour l'accueil et les conseils. Bon petit déjeuner en terrasse avec très belle vue sur la mer. Belle rénovation.

We booked this property knowing that there was a fee if we checked in late. I messaged the property owner at about 8pm letting them know we were driving in from sicily and we would be late. They cancelled our reservation at 10pm and leftus with no where to go

Es ist kein Hotel, eher ein B&B. Das Zimmer ist OK, wir sind mit 3 Personen gereist. Bad Annehmlichkeiten (Duschbad, Haarwäsche,etc), Poolhandtücher sind mitzubringen. Das Personal (Giuseppe) reißt alles raus. Freundlich, hilfsbereit, und viele Tipps wo man hingehen sollte, was man sich ansehen sollte und Buchung von Restaurants und Tagestrips waren perfekt. Ein Highlight! Jede Anfrage wurde sofort umgesetzt. Offizielle Beschreibung wo sich die Unterkunft befindet ( Expedia, Google, Unterkunft) waren ungenau oder verwirrend. Man geht einen Pfad , neben dem Lebensmittelladen entlang und kommt zu der Villa. Wenn man mit viel Gepäck reist (Familie) ist das schon etwas anstrengend. Es gibt es Zufahrt direkt unter der Villa, die nur für erfahrene Fahrer mit kleinem Auto geeignet sind. Der Zugang hierzu ist beim Personal zu erfragen. Google Maps führt einen in die Irre.

Bonjour, Nous sommes bien arrivés à l’Hôtel Massa Antonio Lubrense , sauf que nous notons que la chambre ne correspond pas à la photo de l’aperçu de l’Hôtel , qui n’est pas un Hôtel proprement dit.de plus il n’y a pas de parking propre à l’établissement ;la voiture est dans la rue avec les risques que cela comporte et en fonction de la place le stationnement est payant . A toutes fins utiles je vous précise que mon achat intégrait un parking gratuit. De plus l’accès à cet établissement se fait obligatoirement à pieds (un chemin abrupte et accidenté 200 mètres) . Cependant les locaux et la vue sont bien. L’objet de mon message est le suivant compte tenu des inconvénients ci-dessus nous avons été dans l’obligation de réserver via expédia un hôtel tout prêt de l’aéroport de Naples pour ne pas rater notre avion de 6h20 le 11 septembre 2018. Le numéro de notre réservation est le 7378537532231 (Millenium gold Hôtel, viale C Umberto Maddaléna 192 Naples. Montant de notre règlement effectué 96,38€) Pourriez-vous dans ce contexte faire un geste commercial , à savoir annuler la nuit du 10 au 11 de l’établissement Antonio Massa Lubrense ce qui nous éviterait d’avoir à supporter les deux règlements pour la nuit du 10 au 11 septembre sur les deux établissements. This stay felt like a home away from home. Everyone was amicable, helpful, and genuine. We didn’t want to leave because of how welcomed we were. The area is convenient if you want to head to Sorrento or Capri. If we had any questions they were quick to answer. This stay was easily my most favorite and I travel a lot. I would recommend any & everyone. Family friendly also

Unser Urlaub war fantastisch und das nicht zuletzt wegen unserer hervorragenden Unterkunft. Das Haus liegt wunderschön in einem Olivenhain mit Aussicht über die Bucht von Neapel. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß, sauber und seht schön. Aber vor allem Ricardo und Giuseppe ein großes Danke für die Gastfreundschaft, das Frühstück und Hilfe beim organisieren von Ausflügen etc. Wir kommen sehr sehr gerne wieder!

Beautiful, must-visit location

This place was incredible with beautiful views. We felt right at home with the friendly hosts. The location is walkable to a few places, but isnt very close to what we think was the main downtown area. I highly recommend this for a peaceful getaway!

This is a SPECTACULAR place. There are only 3 rooms, one on each floor, each has a balcony overlooking the sea, with plenty of space to sit. I watched the sun set to my left and rise to my right from the same balcony! after an evening swim Down from the house itself there is a beautifully pool also facing the sea. It is lit up in the evening so you can swim any time.The hosts provided poolside snacks and let my daughter hook up her music to the speaker. By the pool, you can lounge in pool chairs or sit in a swing seat and look out over the ocean. I could have spent another week there, It's about a 20 minute drive to Sorrento from there but Sorrento was mobbed with tourists whereas Massa Lubrense is a much quieter place. But easy to launch an Amalfi coast trip from there and only about an hour down from Naples or half an hour from Pompei., and what can I say about Guiseppe that isn't already in every review? he is responsive, proactive, fun-loving, responsible, hilarious. Just loves making people happy. He responded to our questions about arrival immediately, helped with arrival, bags, parking, made dinner and boat reservations, and also makes great breakfasts! most of all he has an incredible love of life and is someone you just want to spend time with (though he is also entirely respectful of your own privacy of course) Overall an amazing place - I will be back as many times as life permits. Hats off!

I’ve stayed in a dozen other properties & I never felt compelled enough to leave a review but this property definitely made me want to leave my first reviews ever! Sorrento was one of our stops on our 3 week honeymoon trip around Europe. We really lucked out by booking this property with Giuseppe. So much so that it made our goodbye a hard one & we wished that we could’ve stayed for the rest of our honeymoon! The villa it’s self is beautiful, quiet and has a breathtaking view but what made the place so special was the host Giuseppe! He picked us up from the bus station, offered his motorcycle to drive around town, set up a outing for us to go to Capri, took us to go get drinks with him one night, cooked us an amazing breakfast every morning, Invited us to dinner (home cooked meal) another night with his friends that quickly became our friends as well & even drove us back to the bus station at the end of our trip. The room we stayed in had the most breathtaking view, the pool was amazing & everything was really clean and homey feeling. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience & now we’re planning to come back with our family & rent out the whole villa in the future! From the beginning to the end of our trip in Sorrento we had the best time thanks to Giuseppe & our stay at Antonio Massa Lubrense!

The hotel offers a fantastic view of the water and is located in a quiet local area. However, the hotel is a bit far from Sorrento, which can only be reached by car. The host was very helpful in this regard. The area has limited dining options, but the host provided excellent recommendations for activities and restaurants. The room was very nice and clean. The hotel's common areas had an impressive view of the water, and in the evening, you can enjoy the beautiful sunset and the view of Capri. The pool was clean and perfect for cooling off in the hot weather.

This place was wonderful stayed 3 nights with my wife and son. Great breakfast provided in the morning. Giuseppe was a fantastic host, helped us take and set up tours, made dinner reservations for dinners and provided a ride when needed. Would recommend to anyone that wants a beautiful escape from the madness of the coastal cities.

A really idyllic location with a fantastic view. Best of all, is the host Giuseppe. His guidence of places to visit, and breakfast, absolutely made the trip.
