"A beautiful hotel, built in the 1940s, in the great British colonial style, like the Raffles hotel in Singapore or the Victoria Falls Hotel in Zimbabwe. The interior is elegant. The service was remarkably warm, helpful and attentive. The overall experience was outstanding, even compared to other five star hotels. "
"We had a wonderful stay at La Falconeria. The room was great giving us a view of the street below but with the balcony doors closed very quiet. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast which was included was excellent with a variety of choices to choose from. Overall our stay was great and the hotel would be our first choice when we return."
"Absolutely fantastic. The only thing that it lacked for me, was ice; no ice machine for drinks in the room. The hotel staff did get me ice on a couple of occasions, but it was not readily available for guests. Limited dining, but a goog variety for breakfast. You're so close to all the restaurants, bars, and entertainment that you could choose a different experience every time you stepped out. Transportation was a quick walk away. I wouls stay here for every visit to Malta."
"This was a beautiful hotel with clean, quiet, spacious rooms. The pool area, with an expansive view of Valetta, is gorgeous, and the hotel is conveniently located near the ferry terminal to Valetta. It's also a reasonably quick cab ride from Mdina and a less-than-30-minute walk to Balluta Bay. I would absolutely stay here again. "
"The room was very clean and the amenities cannot be beat! Full kitchenette and washer/dryer. 30 minute walk/hike to downtown Valletta.
One note for people who like to sleep in. Church bells go off around 8am every morning. Beautiful and musical, but hard to sleep through "
