Fantastic location. Really nicely decorated and has everything you needed. Comfortable bed, lush shower. Host was great, really accommodating, had thought of everything. So easy to get to bars,restaurants, shopping, train station etc, would highly recommend to anyone. We booked the smallest room,and it was perfectly fine as a place to sleep and shower. Excellent stay.

This is a gem of a place. So,cosy,quiet even though in the old town. So tastefully decorated inside and the patio areas. Lovely teas to sample in the room. Paul was helpful and charming when I finnaly found him! Fabulous stay

Fab spacious room in great location

Absolutely fantastic accommodation and Paul is a great host. The room is massive and has underfloor heating which in the Winter is a real winner.

Great stay - recommended

Beetroot hotel is a great place to stay. Clear instructions before arrival, friendly welcome. The hotel is in a good location for the railway station, restaurants and galleries. In addition it is a vegan hotel. Care has been taken to make sure visitors are comfortable and welcome.

Perfect!

Stylish, comfortable and in the heart of Margate’s Old Town. The owner met us with the keys for an early check in, really nice bloke. You’re a few minutes walk from plenty of pubs and restaurants but the hotel itself is set back in a nice quiet spot. Will definitely return.

The property was in an excellent position for us to explore. It was very well presented and offered everything we needed. The host Paul was brilliant from initial contact to showing us the room. Couldn’t ask for better. We went during a storm and once in the room couldn’t hear a thing. Will go back to the beetroot

Really enjoyed our stay here, the room was tastefully decorated and very clean with a lovely comfortable bed, also had a fabulous shower room nice shower products etc, crisp clean white towels. Lovely, quirky hotel. At the same time tasteful and nice. Great location in Old Town Margate, everything was just a few mins walk or less, shops, bars, beach, seafront. We stayed 3 nights and everything was perfect. Check in and communication from Paul the owner was very easy and efficient. Each room at the hotel is different, ours was split on 2 levels with the bed and hanging space upstairs. Downstairs was a well equipped kitchen and a nice cave-like bathroom with lovely powerful shower. The outside courtyard space was also pleasant, we had our morning cuppa out there each day along with the plants, butterflies, goldfish pond and trickling water feature. Perfect. We came for a concert at Dreamland, this was maybe 10min walk. Paul was always on hand to check everything was ok and a friendly chat without being interfering. 5* well recommended, will definitely book again whenever we're in the area.
