Thousands of Ants everywhere in the room including in the bed. The Queuing for a drink was ridiculous so we went to a local bar instead. Don’t get me started on the Sunbeds!!!!

Family resort

resort is nice sized and has activities every evening. Family friendly and one wouldn’t have to leave the property, if the goal was to soak in some sun by a pool and do nothing for a week. Clean, with well kept garden areas. Although it’s not the typical place we stay, most the guests seemed to enjoy their stay.

Hotellet hade både positiv och negativa upplevelser för oss. Det positiva var att hotellet är vackert, bra pool dock lite kalla. Maten var ok några rätter bättre än andra men dem som var goda var riktigt goda. Trevlig personal alltid ett leende på läpparna. Obekvämt säng och badkaret var livsfarlig, min dotter halkade och slog sig även vi håll i henne, när jag sa till housekeeper då hämtade de en halkmatta. Bra underhållning på kvällarna till barn och vuxna. Den kan rakryggad stå för sina tre plus stjärnor med lite mer kärlek till rummerna, sängen och mer traditionellt spanska mat så kommer de och uppnå lätt fyra stjärnor.

Great value for a short stay

Much better than I was expecting-almost all inclusive for a fair price. Property was well maintained and clean, the food was well done, if not gourmet, but adequate. A great value.

In one word, HORRIBLE. Horrible room, because it smeeled like faeces and it was in an unhealthy state. HORRIBLE, because the only alternative I got was to walk at 5 AM in pijama to another hotel. HORRIBLE, because I caught the receptionist insulting me behind my back calling me the "typical customer that just wants something for free". HORRIBLE, because the manager and director both lied to me claiming they could not issue a refund because I booked through Expedia. And HORRIBLE, because when expedia tried to call up to 5 times to get the refund approve, the manager was always "busy". Don't go to this hotel

The white cottage

Globales hotel do not try to be flashy they just do what they say they are, a good standard 3 star hotel. The staff at the cortijo blanco where so friendly. To make it better provide kettles in rooms and a sports area(footy) for teenage boys. I understand they removed this for an additional pool area which was excellent.

En general, hemos estado muy a gusto. Las habitaciones y el baño son muy amplias y están muy limpias. La cama es muy cómoda. El personal es muy atento. El buffet es abundante y variado, y de buena calidad. No nos ha gustado el horario de la cena, impropio de España, no es admisible que la hora límite para cenar sean las 9 de la noche (aunque hay que decir que el personal era bastante flexible y dejaban entrar un poco más tarde), teniendo en cuenta que la mayor parte de los clientes eran españoles. Por otra parte, restringir la wifi gratuita en la habitación a una hora al día y tener que pagar un extra nada barato para ampliar el tiempo de conexión es algo que hace mucho tiempo no veo en ningún hotel, ni siquiera en apartamentos particulares.

Double Standard Hotel

Hotel had opened 2 days before their official UK opening date to cater for locals for their Easter break, the food was excellent! When they left on Sunday the food was completely different when the locals left and UK tourists arrived! The beds were also impossible to sleep in and no insulation between rooms made it seem you were sharing the room with those other guests in adjacent rooms. Will not go back nor recommend it to friends!

nice hotel just 35 minutes from airport

On late arrival we were put into a tiny box room for the 1st 2 nights and asked to have a room the same as everyone else and eventually got one. The food was plentiful but hit and miss.

Vi var 4 par som reste hit och bodde med All inclusive. Syftet med resan var att spela golf och att ha trevligt. Som goda vänner. 10 min promenad till stranden och ca 20-30 min promenad till Porto Banus. Ett flertal fina Golfbanor inom 10-20 min bil resa. Sängarna är inte av topp kvalitet så sovit lite dåligt. Maten är bra, mycket att välja på.bra pool/sol område. Allt som Allt väldigt nöjd.

Something I don't want to experience again

Unfortunately I was not on holiday, and the option to stay here was one of necessity. Upon my arrival, the reception staff tried to rip me off by charging me twice for the room. This was only sorted out by the intervention of Expedia. If your idea of holiday fun is to stay in a motel with thousands of liked minded British tourists and eat canteen food, whilst fighting for a sun bed place this is the place for you. The food was truly awful, alcohol overpriced and clientele to match. On the plus side, two of the reception staff went out of the way to be helpful in what was a very trying personal time.

big hotel close to the main dual carriageway

when i first arrived i was told that there was not the room available for which i had paid for and was made to stay in a diffferent hotel and in a box room that was not nice at all. i had paid for 10 nights at the cortijo blanco for a twin room with a balcony which i did not receive on my first day and night's stay. i complained about this and was given a room that i should have had at the beginning on day two of my stay. I was also given a safe to use free of charge as i asked for it to make up for the downgraded room i had on day and night one. the food and drinks were available from 8 am to midnight but the snacks were always the same choices and this got boring. also the rice and noodle dishes were extremely salty and were almost too salty to eat. the drinks were always in plastic cups which caused me to question the impact that this had on the environment. there did not appear to be any recycling facilities available for guests to dispose of their waste in an environmentally efficient manner. the rooms were cleaned daily and this was done well.

A big hotel close to beach

Is was easy too eat, take a bath and enjoy the sun. A good varitaion of food I didn't like that many people placed the towels at the sun chair long before they used it.

Nice hotel 5 minutes from the sea

We arrived at the hotel and were told there were no rooms available so we were being "upgraded" to a sister hotel in Estapona. We were not happy about this but went along with it in a taxi which was waiting for us outside. The staff couldn't get us out quick enough. The "upgraded" hotel was basically a water park with blocks of apartments full of young families. We chose the Cortijo Blanco because it was more adult-friendly. We spoke to the hotel manager who spoke to the manager of the Cortijo Blanco and we were moved back the following morning. The same thing happened to our friends who had booked the same hotel. We were told that anyone who didn't book through Tui (Thomson's) were told there were no rooms and moved to another hotel. Our room at the Cortijo Blanco was clean and spacious. The food was of an excellent quality and there was plenty of it too. Plenty of sunbeds and chairs/tables to go around and the bar staff, staurant staff and cleaners were friendly and pleasant. Easy access to the beach and the highway leading up and down the coast. Buses run regularly in both directions so it's easy to get around. Taxis are there in minutes but may try to overcharge massively like one or two tried with us! Overall a lovely hotel, just a pity we had a bad start to our holiday with the Cortijo Blanco. We would definitely return if we could guarantee staying there from Day 1.

Excellent hôtel 3*

séjour très convenable hormis les premier jour ou il a fallu véritablement faire le siège de la réception et menacé de dormir dans le hall!!!! une chambre, avec vue piscine, salle de bain et balcon comme précisée dans la description standart de l'hotel, réservée depuis plus de 2 mois avait ete donnée a d'autres clients et aucune chambre telle que celle la. n'etait disponible alors qu'il y en a prés d'une centaine!!!! nous nous somme retrouvés dans un hôtel annexe dans une chambre avec vue sur l'extincteur et le'entrée arrière du restaurant sans salle de bain ni balcon.... toust c'est arrangé des le lendemain grâce a notre forcing!!!!!! il semble que cet hôtel, manifestement aux mains de SUNEO/TUI, ne voit pas l'arrivée des clients d'EXPEDIA et d'HOTEL.COM d'un œil bienveillant comme il nous a été fait remarque. A part ce couac de la réception, tout a été tout a fait agréable et le séjour laissera quand même un excellent souvenir.
