Dali Qiyu Half Hill Seaview Villa Erhai
I had the room on the 2nd floor with the view over the lake. The room was clean and impeccable, I slept amazingly well, with no noise and a great bed. The hotel is not in the old town of Dali, but in less than an hour drive you can reach all you want and you avoid the crowds.

The breakfast was great. There is a neighborhood cat that comes over at breakfast and it’s very cute. The staffs are very personal. It’s like living at a friend’s home. Argyle Resort Dali Yueyun
The service from staff was excellent attentive and kind. Unfortunately the hotel was extremely difficult to find because every major map app including the map on the Orbitz listing was wrong. We walked around for almost an hour trying to find it.
