Das Hotel hat fussläufig einen Strand (ohne Liegen, Service o.Ä), Man kommt aber innerhalb von paar Gehminuten (oder man wählt den Hoteltransfer) an den gemachten Strandabschnitt. "The hotel was incredibly clean and food amazing. Great views from your Sunbed and the best sandy beach I have been to in Greece.
Only downsides are the amount of sunbeds pool side so you often have to get up early to get a bed or you will be on the beach. Then the beach club next door played music a few nights until the early hours which kept us awake. Other than that it is an amazing hotel "
"we were a family of 4 (2 teens). We had breakfast buffet each morning. The hotel is steps away from the beach. The sea view we had was gorgeous . Lots of stores and shops within walking distance. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful. we have stayed here each time we have come to ierapetra and will return"

"I absolutely loved my stay at The Island hotel and would recommend anyone to book! The hotel was large but extremely well maintained, the staff were lovely and breakfast included such an array of tasty food. Incredibly clean and I felt very safe as a solo female traveller. The pools were fantastic and I easily spent hours there!

"Even before our family of 4 arrived every interaction with the staff was professional and helpful. They coordinated a late night pick up from the airport to get us to the resort. Upon arrival we were greeted by staff that presented us with hand cleaning towels which were much appreciated and a beverage of our choice while we finished check-in before taking us to our beautiful suite. "Love the hotel, chilled out music playing during the day, pool area does get busy at weekends but not oppressive.
Really great food in the restaurant here, definitely recommend going half board.
Hersonissis for me isn’t somewhere I would visit again, I don’t like the vibe in the strip. However, Koutouloufari is a ten minute walk from this hotel and is wonderful.
The staff at the hotel are really very nice, Erika in particular is a great host and an asset to this hotel."
"Eine rundum tolle Anlage. Poolanlage ist sehr schön. Essen vielfälltig und für jeden was dabei. Wir hatten "All inclusiv" und konnten auch an fünf abenden in den la carte Restaurant essen. Es wird auf Allergien eingegangen. Es gibt jeden Abrnd ein Program. Wer möchte, kann auch direkt ans Stand. "
