"We had a great stay at this hotel with our two children for three nights in late August. Great location, friendly staff, clean room, great pool and great restaurant. Really don’t have anything negative to say. The pool was great to come back and relax at and we found the restaurant was even better than some of the food options in the area!

"This was a great little hotel in a brilliant location. It’s small so has limited facilities and a minimal breakfast offer, but the staff were lovely and the location was amazing. The rooms were clean but we didn’t have a view from either window but we were only there one night so it was fine. I’d stay here again though because of the staff friendliness and location."

The hotel grounds were picturesque and the hotel itself was charming and full of history. It felt very welcoming (particularly thanks to the staff) and homely while still having modern amenities.
