"Excellent food! Way above what's expected for 3 stars. Comfy beds and lots watch on TV. Well stocked and reasonably priced bar. Staff were all lovely and happy to help. Great breakfast and they have a wicked carvery every day!"

"The hotel is in a great location with free parking. Very nice hotel building. Our room (Deluxe King) was spacious though the window was high - you do not have a view if you're just about 5ft tall. Everything was clean. The bed was comfortable because the pillows and comforter were just right for us. Our booking included breakfast but we had to leave at 6am so the hotel arranged breakfast bags for us. While we appreciate that, it's disappointing that my husband didn't get the cup of coffee...

"Caravogue House is a lovely gem in Trim. It’s within walking distance to town center and trim castle. The house itself is lovely and has private off street parking. Everything was very clean and the owners are super friendly. We had a family room which was perfect for us and our two teenaged children. Private bathroom with a great strong and hot shower. Breakfast was made to order and tasted amazing. It was a perfect place to stay before heading to the airport the next morning. A perfect wrap up...

"The Newgrange is a grand old hotel with nooks and crannies around every corner. The location is very central and we enjoyed all of our meals there."

"The Main level of the hotel is kept beautifully. Bedrooms were ok. Bathrooms need fixing up. . Beds comfortable. There was no shampoo is bathroom and the carpet needed vacuuming. Breakfast was solid. Bedrooms felt just a bit shabby."

"Check in front desk girl was very friendly. The photos are a bit deceiving as to what the property was truly like. None of the saunas were part of the hotel - not even an option. Our room faced the road not the water. Over priced for what we got."

"We rented a house attached to the resort and it was fabulous. It slept 9 and the rooms all had bathrooms attached. Kitchen, laundry, living room and a small backyard for the toddler. We had full access to the hotel's facilities and used the pool a lot. It was great. No complaints . The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. I would book this again and not hesitate "
