"The room was clean. Staff was helpful. I just wish there was a net for the pool so that I could clean the bugs, hair, and trees pieces that fell in naturally. Thank you for the stay and service."
"This little place was super convenient for all the tourist stops in and around Santa Fe and we would definitely come back for that reason alone.
Now, to the not so great…we were exhausted when we arrived and as we started to get settled into our room, we started to notice things that made us pause. First, there was makeup smeared on the towel bar, then fake eyelashes on a folded up towel. But the worst was climbing into a bed that was gritty and hair all over one of the blankets. Thankfully, we were able to switch immediately to another room which was much better but still had its faults. The property management is definitely slacking and needs to put more time and energy into keeping this place top notch because it’s very charming. We were not the only ones during our stay that had issues with the cleanliness, as I heard others in the lobby needing to switch as well. They also had the pool closed for inspection. Not ideal with two young kids.
Breakfast was a plus and the food from the restaurant was pretty good, but again, they obviously need to hire more people because they couldn’t deliver to us in our room due to the bartender being the only one there."
"Very good stay. Very clean and nice decoration. The only negative experience was that the AC made a loud slushing sound, which woke me up consistently."
"First the positives. Room 209. Check in was easy and staff was nice. The room was nice and cold. The television worked and there was a refrigerator and a microwave. The bed was great and all the linens for the bed and in the bathroom were clean and the bath towel was a nice size which I appreciated. They did provide soap, shampoo, and conditioner.
The cons. The motel is dated. I didn’t use any of the amenities and could care less there was no water in the pool and the pool area was junk. I couldn’t get hot water in the shower."
"The room was spacious, clean and had a sufficient outlets.
The breakfast area is clean and food was better than others, had good food selection.
Staff were polite and helpful."
"Comfortable bed and pillows. Towels were good, too. Just, FYI, we had a room on the side of the hotel that was right beside a busy street. Lots of traffic noise. So, be sure to request a room opposite that street.
Getting to the hotel was a little complicated. Your phone might turn you into the mall parking lot."
