"I really loved this hotel. It’s modern inside and perfectly located in the center of Funchal. The place is spotless, the beds are comfortable, and the shower was excellent. For one person, the room size was just right, but if you’re traveling with someone else, you’ll definitely want a larger room.
The only drawback was parking. You have to use a parkade about 5–10 minutes down the road at €20 a night, which can be a bit of a hassle. There’s nowhere to pull up in front of the hotel without...

"A 5 star resort , great spa too. Indoor pools, hot tub and steam room were serien. Our massage therapist was knowledgeable and friendly as well.
The main outdoor pool is massive and water warm. The breakfast buffet is outstanding . The staff were always polite and spoke various languages fluently. Our room was very large with a terrific shower. I loved their optional pillow selection as well. The cleaning staff folded our clothes too daily. A nice touch. There are plenty of great restaurants...

"What an amazing property. This hotel was one of my favorites throughout our family trip of 10 days around Portugal and Madeira. We were given a suite with pool and ocean view. The rooms were spotless clean, comfortable beds with fluffy pillows. One of the best breakfast buffets we have experienced. The staff was very friendly and professional. Located near restaurants, natural pool, shopping mall. Highly recommend to stay at Porto Mare Bayport when visiting Funchal."
"Plus qu’un 4 étoiles. La vie est spectaculaire sur tout Funchal est la baie, la piscine extérieure et l’ensemble des équipement sont au top. La chambre deluxe est plus une suite car énorme et superbement équipée et champagne mignardises et bruschetta à l’arrivée en chambres des accès et rabais spécifiques pour la catégorie de la chambre. "Stayed in a room that hosted me and two friends. The location to check-in was close to the apartment and walkable. There are a lot of cute shops and restaurants that are walkable from this location. Communication through WhatsApp was very smooth with the host. There is an elevator so you don’t have to only rely on stairs to bring your luggage upstairs. All in all a good stay! "

Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit – wir haben uns von Anfang an willkommen gefühlt. Die Zimmer waren modern eingerichtet, sehr sauber und gepflegt.

"Terrace Mar is a wonderful place in a great location. The bed was super comfortable, kitchen was functional and having a balcony was great. Breakfast buffet was superb. Staff were very friendly.
