Nice hotel located in the centre of Macon and has a limited number of parking spaces in the inner yard. Make sure to reserve your spot when you make your booking.

Wir hatten Einzelzimmer, die sind klein aber wir waren ja nur 8 Stunden zum Schlafen da. Badezimmer hatte alles, was frau braucht. Parkplatz war ausgebucht, aber ca. 100 Meter entfernt gibt es ein öffentliches Parkhaus, das sogar günstiger war als der hoteleigene PP

The hotel bills itself as having “all rooms air conditioned”. While it may be technically true, it is deceiving: air conditioning can only be operated from the front desk, and the person there says that “in compliance with the law” they can set it no cooler than 6 degrees below outside. When I arrived it was off, and it was 31 C out, so I had to ask for it to be turned on, while I slowly simmered in the room. Came back hours later, when it was 26 outside, so it was pretty much the same temperature as in the room. Had to go down again and ask for the adjustment. Hope it works. Been in France for four days in different hotels, and this is the first I have heard of this “law”.

Séjour d'une nuit correct. Le parking proposé par l'hôtel est payant, les places ne sont pas nombreuses et un peu justes pour les voitures actuelles. Bonne situation au centre ville, restaurants à proximité (10mn à pied) sur les quais de Saône. Le petit déjeuner était correct, sans plus. Pour une nuit de passage c'est suffisant.

Very friendly & accommodating staff. He gave recommendations for restaurants & shopping. The lift was not working so getting luggage up the steps was extremely cumbersome although staff helped. The breakfast was excellent. Overall a very nice stay.

Affordable, nice hotel and staff.

We stayed one night whilst passing back to the U.K. through France from a ski holiday. For what we needed: a place to crash, it was perfect. Room was simple but with a certain style. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Shower was decent. Breakfast was also good. Staff were nice and welcoming. For the price, I thought it was very reasonable. Free ample parking on the street, or you can pay €12 per night to park it in their garage. Would happily visit again.
